On topic: That all makes sense, and yes there is a large level of imagination with everything in this game. It does seem though that energon quickly becomes a non-issue to most players (until armor becomes incredulously expensive). Having never gotten there though, I'll just have to stockpile and see.

Yeah, mid-levels there isn't much to spend it on, unless weapons become more expensive as thats all their is to blow your loot on.

I've suggested in the past that alts could be bought with energon but without an automated system system for adding them it becomes impossible to make it available to everyone without a panelled-up support crew to help handle stuff like that.

Blowing up weapons costs isn't a good idea (which you weren't suggesting, but I figured it should be squelched now).

Buying alt-modes (or buying down tactic XP cost, maybe?) could be interesting - as the only reason I'd spend GOOD money on an alt is if I can get more out of it sooner; but getting a pretty picture would be worth something. Heaven forbid we all run around like a clunky Barney with wings.

Buying down costs (like the secondary tactic) could be a balance between too much energon and not wanting to trade energon for XP.

I'd love to be able to buy alts. There are soem charecters who *really* need their proper alts.

Weapon costs do need addressing as they are random as hell, but that's on the to-do list as its not likely to make a huge (or any) real impact.

Not too keen on the idea of buying xp though, something tells me its a bad idea.

I do like a bunch of these ideas though - its just back to the old implementation problem. Keep throwing the suggestions in though, if ever we had a group of people capable of devising a decent game economy its you guys.
