Eh, it was cute. I missed it during the weekend and I had a lot of distraction during my Youtube viewing, so I'll watch it again when I tuck into bed. But what I saw was ok. I like Bumblebee and Prowl-centric episodes.

That was pretty random, though no worse that the G1 "Quest for Survival" that had robotic plants from space. It's a nice lead in to next week in any case.

While not the best episode ever, I do like how Sparkplug Witwicky "appears" at the beginning. So how many G1 cameos does this make?

I also liked how Bumblebee lost it when entering the wild, and how he was more terrified at the lost of his media player than at either the horror movie or the Barnacle monster.

Although, yeah Sari surviving superheated water that could kill what essentially amounts to the Flood from Halo was a little off. Not to mention, in real life, she would have died from hypothermia. (Soaked, in winter, in a large mine, driving home in a car which admittedly has a busted heater) Is she related to the chick from the first Alien vs Predator movie?

Well a Blatant filler episode no doubt about it. No reason was given for the barnacles and why they take over machines etc.. Kinda lousy.
But I guess this was more of a Spongebob Squarepants nod than anything else. Considering Bulkhead and Starscream's voices are from that very show. Patrick Star, and Sponge Bob respectively.

The only redeeming quality is it gets us all that much closer to Lord Megatron's triumphant, if not fully powered up, return. Which is the best I can say about this episode.

Couple of G1 nods. Nothing to write home about.

One of the Weakest episodes so far. Now that that is done, bring on Megatron.

Very weak episode. A barnacle monster from space? That was so lame it made the Angry Archer look like Megatron. Still, most of the eps have been pretty good so far, and I am optimistic overall.

I lied the episode quite alot actually.
Sure it was a filler, but it was funny. I don't think it was cheesy. better than Unicron trilogy humore definately.
Main problem with this episode:
Space barnacles?
The space barnacles are awesome, but that name sucks ass.
Space barnacles is like cosmic rust, hate plague and Halo's flood combined together. those are all cool names(hate plague isnt super cool but compared to space barnacles)
But space barnacles sounds like something from a made for tv movie for spongebob.
