That is how I DL'ed the trailer yesterday.

I came back to show the vid to my lil bros today, and noticed it had been removed from Vimeo. And when I went to MB's site It wasn't on the main page, and I could find no mention of it anywhere else. Anyone know what's going on?

- Anyone think they saw soundwave for a split second?

- I agree, clearly BB freaked out and damaged Sam's house and now Sam is almost forced to part ways from BB.

- The scene with "Blackout", Starscream and Megatron kicking the crap out of Prime - It really does look like Prime is kneeling in front of Megs. At first I thought because Sam is in the scene that this takes place after Prime rescues Sam from being kidnapped - maybe Prime is asking for Sam's life... who knows. If blackout is back, maybe that kind of explain's how Megs became a tank - he kind of combined with the late Brawl.

- I still am curious how the plot will play out - there is no way the autobots can take out all those baddies including the fallen. The baddies have to go against each other - either the Constructicons get all power envy and take on Megs, Starscream and Soundwave, or the Fallen is just too powerful for any of the other transformers.

If that was Megatron's foot it would be bent in a very odd fashion.



What do you think of this? To me, this is how I see the two bots based on color and shape. No matter what, it is very hard to tell because there is only two or three frames, it is depicted from a distance, and the bots are like colored. I am just glad we are in agreement that Megatron is one of the bots.

Check out the shadows on the rooftop. You can clearly see where each bot's shadow is touching the ground.

I still see it as Megatron doing the slamming, and the picture you provided makes me even more sure. I guess we will just have to agree to disagree.

On another note, I now think it is the Fallen Megatron is tussling with.

I guess we'll see. All I can say is that I'm watching the HD version over and over on my 24" HD monitor and all I can see is the feet sliding out from under Megs as he falls.

I see his heal lifting and his weight transfering to his toes/ball of his foot. Simulate the motion your self. Act like you are slamming something to the ground with your left hand. Look back at you left foot and you will see you are on the ball of your foot and your heel is lifted off of the ground.

Do you think Prime's head looks wider in this movie than it did in the first movie? I will post a few still later, but this is the shot that real made me think his head is widder.



Aside from the damage, grime, and missing faceplate, he looks more G1 in this shot to me.

I think it's just the angle of the shot giving the illusion that it is wider.

yeah the trailer looks sick as hell. i love how jetfire is an angry old man kinda like ratchet in TFA i was kinda worried he was gonna b a burden on them but i think he might still b able to hold his own. and for the part where bumblebee knees rampage in the face his head doesnt come off u see it go as far back as it can n its still attached. devastator looks sick but isnt rampage the bulldozer that comprises one of devastators arms n arent they both yellow so y is rampage red in the trailer. and it sucks how we only see sideswipe for less than a second i think hes gonna be the certified bad@$$ in this movie .all in all im way more excited for this one than i was for the first n thats honestly saying a lot...cant wait

You, my friend, speak the truth. Beast Wars is perhaps the best series, as far as involving us intellectually. Which is why it's my favorite.

Fast forward to the 2007 TF Movie and now TF:RotF. Why should we expect anything other than action mixed with comedy from a mythology that's been full of that? So... I think the writing is arguably better than the TF cartoon lore (I'm not an expert on the comics,... so I can't really comment of those) and is written in a way that people who have not been immersed in Transformers before can still enjoy the movie. And you know we have not been exposed to the main plot -- so we're really only commenting on what we've seen from this clip and the short action highlight sequences we've seen in this and the previous trailers.

I am a huge fan of the US comics, especially the later ones, as they really involve us as fans. I was kinda hoping for that in the movies, but I forgave the first one because, well, it was the first one. But this one they should have upped it a little bit. Regarding which, your other point is very valid. We don't know the actual plot. They may actually be playing out a somewhat well-structured script. Afterall, these writers also wrote the new Star Trek (which i will also only see for the effects, never been a Trekkie) so we'll see.

Somewhat related point: I saw on comingsoon.net a comment from the director of the new terminator movie, McG. And I quote:

"This is what will bring down Transformers."

He meant his movie, not RotF's script. But it kind of pissed me off, and now I will not pay to see Terminator Salvation. No way that ass gets my money. Now, we brought up megan Fox, that might be a different story...
