F-16's in the movie
Anyone else notice when they are scrambling the F-22's to head to the city, that the two planes shown on the ground taxiing(?) are actually F-16's?

They were. The base (the real base) had a giant graveyard of old tanks that they used for target practice. These were also used in the movie for when everything was getting destroyed. Gotta love the special features on this DVD.

Stock footage = footage that already exists that movie producers use over and over to fill in gaps, etc. So they don't have to shoot it over again and again.

Didn't he also use some shots from Pearl Harbour in this? I'm thinking of the aircraft carrier shots.

I have noticed this as well. And when the pilots are running to their 22's, there are a couple of F-16'sbehind them. (The 22's, I mean.)

actually he did use the aircraft carrier shots for both movies.... he used the shot of a modern day ACC and moded it in the computer to look like a old ACC for the movie..... then in TFTM he just took the unmodded shots and used them in the film.... i think it's on the special edition...Auto Bot wrote:Are you sure? Pearl Harbour should not have modern carriers and F-16s.
