Don't judge him till you fiddle around with him. There's often lots of hidden stuff on TFs that the first people to get a TF just don't notice.DevastaTTor wrote:I should see this first hand tonight at Comic Con and will probably pick him up. Whether I wind up liking him enough to keep him, that's another story.

Check out Bruticus' scramble gimmick and try confirming if Onslaught's cannon really can plug into Bruticus' back. =)

I wish the connectors on Vortex and Blast Off would have been slightly lower allowing some of their kibble to stick up above his shoulders. I think that would make him look "bigger" and a little stronger. In my opinion, the way they connect now makes him look very skinny and weak at the shoulder. It looks more like a wrist.
I think it was necessary to do what they did to allow for the scramble gimmick.amcgrath929 wrote:My biggest complaint with the toy based on pictures is the placement of the connectors on the arms. Oh that's always a possibility till we can get it in-hand. But we gotta remember, that joint would become the knee when Vortex and/or Blast-Off becomes Bruticus' legs. Would kinda look weird if the joints were further down the leg.RAcast wrote:orangeitis wrote:I think it was necessary to do what they did to allow for the scramble gimmick.amcgrath929 wrote:My biggest complaint with the toy based on pictures is the placement of the connectors on the arms. It could also be a mistransformation. You know those crazy photographers over at HasTak.
Scramble Vortex into leg mode then!SKYWARPED_128 wrote:Not liking the karate-chop hand on Vortex.

Oh there are.
Have you not seen Ruination?

Then switch Vortex out for Swindle, leave Brawl as a leg? There's lots of possibilities. Not to mention, you might like other configurations once you get it in-hand.SKYWARPED_128 wrote:orangeitis wrote:Scramble Vortex into leg mode then!SKYWARPED_128 wrote:Not liking the karate-chop hand on Vortex.

A nice improvement on the hand, but Brawl looks awful as an arm. Hopefully, it's another mistransformation snafu on the part of the photographer.
