I'm pretty sure that's what happened in the g1 series or does hasbro have some crazy twist why the Dino bots are on cybertron. And I don't have anything against the story of the game I think it's great I just wanna know how this came to be and if anyone actually knows the answer.

Simply put, this doesn't tie to any existing Generation 1 story. It's an all new story that pays homage to G1 in design aesthetics (similar to how animated was), but eventually leads into Transformers: Prime instead. The comic story "Rage of the Dinobots" takes place after this video game and leads directly into the not-yet-released third season of the Prime cartoon, bridging the gap between this game and the cartoon.Hotrodimust wrote:And can someone tell me how this all ties in with prime and generation 1 because the Dino bots were made on earth I thought. What is it about the goofball that people don't like? Not happy.
I'm struggling to figure out how that's meant to be Magnus. I'd have guess Nemesis Prime or Motormaster. Not seeing much in the way of red, white or blue.
I long for the days when DLC was an afterthought to extend the life of a game a year or two after release, (instead of a shameless attempt to milk more money from customers) but that never really happened.

Also, Sharpshot = Hound?
I mean, I'm glad to be getting Hound, but why is he being called Sharpshot?
In any case, I was using the Slingshock weapon today, and so I'm glad to have that already. That's one thing I'm sure of.

You realize we are talking about Activision, which surpassed EA in it's evil ways 4 years or so ago.

when i meant "their evil ways" i meant High moon.
ofcoarse i will totally forgive them if it was activision who forced them to milk...
maybe.
but could u enlighten me on how activision surpassed the EVIL of what is Capcoms murder of the blue bomber, spam of the ingame character-DLC needed character unlocks, And oh wait...i got EA mixed up with activision right? activision spams the COD card. nevermind
i got their names mixed up. so its Capcom and activision that are evil, with EA close behind.
still...DONT SUPPORT EVIL!!!

Marketing departments usually dictate DLC, which High Moon is subject to Activision's marketing department, and Acitivsion likes milk. A lot.
Marketing sometimes, in the conceiving of a game, literally chooses certain storyline (like say for instance in an RPG) and then decided that will be reserved for DLC later. Same with characters. Marketing will see that this, that and those are all popular with the target audience, and so they would make excellent DLC because they will be much more sought after.

What are you talking about? The 5 character pack is only $10 on PSN. Is it set up differently on XBL? If you're talking about the body parts that cost something in multiplayer then it has nothing to do with any sort of real money. You earn credits along with XP to be spent in the character creation area.
I'm on PS3. Can someone with the game on XBL explain if it's not the same there?
starwarrior1227 wrote:im sure it works just like it does on PSN just with microsoft points and not actual money(points are bought with money though).

I've had a 360 longer than I've had the PS3 so I get that, but it sounds like he's saying each arm and each leg cost 80 MS points or something. I just don't understand what he's getting at. You should only have to buy the pack to unlock everything. Is it not like that and you have to buy each piece as a separate transaction?
a Cobra Viper wrote:What's he so pissed for, then? It sounds as if it's fairly easy to get, but Hotrodimust makes it sound as if it's the hardest thing in the world to do.
Blurrz wrote:You can buy the DLC parts individually (the ones you want for) for 80 MS each, or the entire set for everything, at 800 MS.
