GrimSqueaker wrote:Again that just proves my point! If u draw a guide in pencil first, then u can knock out the second drawing in pen and ta-da no ilttle eraser lines, because u didnt have to erase!
A light pencil will rub out without leaving marks, or a nonphotographic blue or red will eliminate the need for rubbing out at all!
In the drawing hereu can see the guideline version and the finished pen drawing, although i havent rubbed out any pencil yet-that oughta give ya an idea of the use it can be-particuylarly in anything with spheres, checkout the knobs on his chest!

Oh, did that coem off as being a bit funny then? Im sorry if it did sicne you said "wellllll" like that...i didnt mean to sound rude or anything, i just hate being told how i can improve on stuff when i really have no need or desire to do so.
I also have a real burning hatred towards anyone who tries to tell me what to do, as well as a very short fuse.
Mix the two together and you have one helluva walking atomic bomb for a milkshake on your hands!
I guess those pills the doctor gave me arent working then...
So again i apologize.
And yes, i did see the other pics. Quite nice work, especially considering the speed in which you can draw them. Something i envy i must admit is speed, but it seems im stuck with being a slow poke since nothing i have tried has helped that aspect.

I did for a few years, got me to where i am now slowley, but i simply dont care anymore really. If you dont have the drive or desire to be better, than how can one improve at all?
Its all a mental game.

GrimSqueaker wrote:Well drop it-its deprs.......eh.......well u get the idea, it just aint fun. i learned a long time ago, what is it they say in shashank? "You either get busy living or you get busy dying!"-u reeally gotta grab life by the balls! Enjoy it and smile because the worst is yet to happen, unless the worst has happened in which case party, because the worst has happened and you survived!!!!
So the comic eh? I enjoy writting aswell, i wouldnt mind pitching in with the dialog. And someone should be responisble for storyboarding, breaking the process up will ensure an even type of art, and a much faster production.

Heh, its easier to be upbeat and positive like that, its ALOT harder to remain that way for more than a micro second. Trust me, i HAVE tried numorous times.
Anyway, if someone has to storyboard then someone who can draw really quickly would be best suited to that wouldnt they?
Im not trying to give roles out here as i think we should all just work on what we are best at, but wouldnt you be best for storyboard work since your so fast?

Yeah cool, i dig story boarding! i love working out dynamic posses and setting up scenes, would some one else pencil and ink-or would the story board be the penciling-hypotetically?
GrimSqueaker wrote:Just checking what level of story board is needed-if is to be simple it could possibly be done by a compotent writter-rather than another person trying to reinterpert it.
Although i wouldnt mind doing it and the pencils, leaving ink and colour to others with more time-one person doing pencils would also give the piece more unity, as their would be less diviation, it sucks when art fluxuates from page to page

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

I just noticed my bulk (spam) email folder was full of replies from here, when usually they go to my regular inbox. Maybe thats what has happened to you hence why you didnt notice them?

No that's not it, I always put forums I'm part of on my safe list so they head directly into my inbox and msn messenger is always running so I pretty much know when a thread of mine has been responded to or I have received a new PM.
GrimSqueaker wrote:Why doesnt some on set the site up provisionally as a forum at http://www.freeforums.org, they are bloody great-i have one set up for my zombie role play game (see sig) and i gotta say i am quite happy with their system-although they are doing maintance which means the site can go down, on the other hand the are doing maintance, which means they give a **** about their site!
