Lucky. Having been out of the hobby(read: too involved in wargaming to have money for other things ) at the time of Classics and Universe, I'm way behind.

I suspect the FP Glacialbots is a FP Site exclusive. Because FP didn't ant to make too many units. Because they knew well in advance only a small niche of buyers would want this.

It's possible FP tried to get various import sites to sell this. But most sites refused. When this happened FP decided to make this a FP Site exclusive. Once it was decided,this would be a FP site exclusive. The units were lowered to extreme low numbers. Because FP knew in advance this wasn't going to be a big seller. At some point FP calculated the small units number needed to sell out without getting stuck with thousands of these unsold units.

Unmaintained planes in Asia go down all the time. So why not old boats as well ? Maybe the story is BS but it really doesnt make sense to lie when the ultimate goal is to sell toys. When did FP ever give an excuse for a delay in the past before ? Never. They usually just stay silent. So the idea that this was a joke may be wrong. I asked for an official link to confirm it was a joke, not a post from a seibertron member on a thread.

Dude, it was a story to explain the different language boxes. This fits perfectly with the overall "story" of these figures, right from the box art that makes them look like worn boxes from the 80s. This may be a departure from previous releases, but that's been the M-O from the start with the Glacial Bots.

I find it tremendously entertaining! I wish I had just a little more disposable income to include these guys in my collection. And maybe a bigger office to display them in.

Youre probally right. Im just wondering if they ever officially aknowledged that it was just a joke. I dont follow the Glacialbots storyline so I honestly wouldnt know. I thought they were using korean versions to replace the "lost" figure. With all thats lost in translation, nothing surprises me.

After some serious consideration. I added Rated X to my foe list. Due to X going out of his way to ruin threads with his rude & demeaning behavior towards other members here.

I never used that feature and never will. I always felt if you can’t take the heat, get out the kitchen.

Even people I don’t like occasionally post things that I am interested in reading. Examples would be links, reviews, pictures, etc. Why would I want to miss out on something just because I don’t like the person who posted it ?

I didn't block X because I was sensitive. I chose to block X because I didn't want to waste anymore time with X. X is too disruptive & starts too much trouble in threads. X likes to get under your skin & have heated reply wars with you. To avoid that,I chose to block X by adding him to my Foe list. Other members here did the same with X,probably for similar reasons.

It's one thing to put someone on your foes list, it's another to announce it specifically for everyone to see. I find that inappropriate.

You know, I can say most of the same things about you. In fact, all of the same things. And I think part of the reason you're blocking X is because you see the same qualities in yourself, and can't stand it.

There's really no point in blocking anyone. You'll still see all the posts when someone quotes them. I think... don't know for sure never the option.

Giving a honest toy opinion,even if it's a negative one. Does serve a purpose. As it's helps HasTak & 3rd parties fix the problems & make them better. Companies welcome all feedback. If everyone only gave positive feedback,then nothing would get improved.

Wow, things sure escalated (and got very silly) quickly. Perspective people. It's important to consider, especially when we are discussing toys. Rated X is incredibly stubborn/obtuse, but so what. It shouldn't affect you or anyone else to the point where you have to publicly 'divorce' him.

I made a generalization over a week ago about some collector’s jobs based on their buying habits and comments. I might have nailed it on the spot. I might have been dead wrong. Ill never know for sure because I didn’t call names. I just made a generalization. A few posters got mildly offended but moved on, most likely because they knew they didn’t fit my description. A week later this guy still won’t move on. He might very well be the poster boy for my generalization because it seems to irk him in an extreme fashion. I was under the assumption we were all adults here and am not sure how to deal with this over-sensitive behavior. Since I never called any names when I made the generalization, I don’t feel a personal apology is warranted. I think I established a long time ago I am not the most politically correct person on here. At the same time, I’ve shown I can get along with plenty of members here, even if we rarely see eye to eye. Blocking people is a personal feature, but he chooses to brag about his personal choice to the whole website in an effort to “shame” me. I don’t get that. Was the announcement really necessary? I don’t know what to say about this dude. I’m at a loss for words.

I received the last 3 of these figures last week and am only now spending some time with them. Overall, I'm really happy with the purchase. This is G1 amped up to a new level, and I can totally appreciate it.

It was a lot of fun transforming the individual members and learning how pieces come off and become weapons and shields. Also noticing that each of the members transform just a bit differently, as opposed to their predecessors. There are slight nuances in each, making the task of transforming less monotonous than what we were used to.

My only complaint is that the combiner fists were a little difficult in removing from the main character's legs in order to attach to the limbs.

Color scheme of the group is very cohesive, and the combined form is a bestial weapons stockpile from hell. Truly worthy of sitting in a G1 display.

These are selling so badly that they sold out and are not offering more!
