he looks nice, but i wonder if he'll be released on time. i've heard from some store owners that fansproject has promised to up their game on keeping to the release dates they hand out.

i did some searching and i was wrong a bit. kapowtoys and dutch store comictoys have dumped most 3rd party toys from their inventory due to poor performance. comictoys is also not selling fansproject stuff anymore.

Yea it is!

I may just cancel my PX Sludge. I know it is directly from the game, but I don't love the design, and I don't play the game.

Even if these don't end up as my Classics versions (I may go with GCreations for that) and they end up being my Cybertronian/FoC/WfC versions, that might work for me.

Or I may skip GCreations and have one of the MP versions fill my GeeWunny fix on my MP shelf, and let these stay with Classics since they have that updated feel that works for Classics.

Lots of choices!

Something just looks off about him. The dino head seems too big in relation to the body, and the proportions in general look odd. The robot mode is nice though.

I'll wait for Vangelus, Optibotimus, Peaugh or someone else to review it.

Pre Ordered Slag through Kapow.
If only Snarl wasn't so far down the release schedule I'd have a mismatched complete set of modern dinobots via FP Sludge and Slag, Takara Grimlock and Planet X Swoop. I could add a fourth company into the equation but really don't want to. If release schedules don't slip FP and PX will both have released 2 dinobots come October leaving the other companies playing catch up.

Who are those small guys? Their weapons? That's pretty interesting.

There's so much 3P Dinobots going on right now that I honestly want to stop collecting for the next year so I don't regret choosing the wrong group. I already have PX Caelus but I'm not sure if I made the right decision.

I got the SDCC set, but that's it. All of my 3rd Party Dinobot activity is officially on hold until the dust settles, so I totally get where you're coming from..

The amount of Dino's on the market is crazy. Along with Hasbro's, you have Toyworld, that shuraking, Fanstoys, Gigapower, the company that teased paddles and of course FP. I got to say I was tempted with Shuraking dude to him having a lot of weaponry but after seeing Not Snarl it set me straight, Sludge was good if a tad generic and made me doubt my choice but now seeing this dude! Bring on the rest FP!

Yes, that's them! Knew I forgot some.

I think a lot of Third Parties just went....AoE! People will want Dinobots! Like 10 Companies doing them. Some are good and some are great but if a lot of people are like me they will only commit to 1-2 Dino squads. Gonna leave a lot out in the cold.

not that i expected a "diaclone chromed" version revealed at the same time, but... i cant help but feel nervous. i want a full set of these dinobots in their chromey goodness like theres no tomorrow.

Swoop looks awesome. Ireally hope hehe is the same height as the others and not that video game scale. Can anyone confirm if the regular versions come with regular guns like the diaclone sludge ? Or do they only come with the microns that turn into ugly weapons ?

They only have the ugly weapon guys. But I'm pretty sure they can ride the dinos like the diaclone guys.

Oh no thats horrible. I remember the Diaclone sludge came with a G1 cannon. It might have come with a proper sword too. Im not paying an extra $100 for a gun and sword. Hopefully Prof Heisenberg sees the potential for sone G1 love.

Nice alt mode though, but I'll prob stick with Caelus for swoop as well. Don't like how these wings fold up.
