Never liked using the word before until I saw it being used a few days ago here. If you don't like it, Then i'll stop using it. I'll go back to typing Classics-Generations.

that point is moot for those who dont want unofficial MP's (like myself). i get it, more bang for the buck. but if people are shopping for generations dinobots, theyre not just going to settle for something completely different because its a slightly better deal.Tsutsukakushi wrote:Buying Five FP Dinobots at $102 each Equals $510. If I buy the FT MP Dinobots,I only need to buy Four as I already own Hastak MP Grimlock. Four FT MP Dinobots at $180 each equals $720. it's only a $210 difference in price.
Was willing to settle for the Cheaper CHUG FP or MF Dinobots if they were priced $70 to $80. Which would have equaled $ $350 for all Five.
Always thought the FT MP Dinobots were the most superior versions. As they look the most G-1, higher sculpt, superior materials and top notch engineering.
for me, These CHUG Dinobots looks as much like G-1 as the AOE Dinobots toys do.

since he was colored mostly right, i kinda lost sight of the fact its a prototype. so ill reserve judgement.xyl360 wrote:warzon3 wrote:Why is the nose horn red? He looks like a clown. I'll be painting that....
It looks like a test shot. I doubt the horn will be red on the final version.

3rd parties are giving video reviewers test shots, not import sites.
Peaugh and his buddies have built up a trusted youtube toy reviews reputation with the fandom.
Are you implying we should trust you instead of Peaugh and his buddies?
A big no thanks to that. I don't care how fast you get these toys or how many you have. I'll never take toy buying advice from a guy like yourself. who goes around this site starting trouble in every thread. With his negative recycled banter,Taunting, harassing others toy purchases. repeating the same annoying negative stuff 20+ times in each thread. cries, throws temper tantrums and has OCD fits of range when companies don't make stuff he wants. Some guess has mental problems.
You need to be nice, normal, respectful, don't start trouble, non harassing. to get fans to trust your toy opinion or video reviews. And quite blunt you don't have any of this. When nobody listens to your reviews, its the price you pay for enjoying acting negatively and starting trouble daily on a forum.

The retailers like bbts, tfsource, and robotkingdom, front 3rd parties the money they need to make production possible. Thats why we have preorders to gauge if a product is worth production. If they dont get the numbers they want, the project gets cancelled and no deal is made (hence BTS Nova Lord...ouch) With that being said, its the retailers who get the test shots and give them away free to their mouthpieces (the reviewers) to help increase sales through online promotion. Didnt you ever wonder why every big online reviewer always shouts out a retailer and almost never bashes a figure no matter how much it sucks ? ? Its all business. And biting the hands that feed you free figures is bad for business.
Its ironic how you say I should be nice and respectful after you just hurled a whole paragraph of insults at me. You are a moron. You dont have to trust me, I could care less. But when you listen to someones opinion who actually paid for the figure, youre more likely to get the honest truth. Keep on believing sales pitches from people who get stuff for free and get burnt. For somebody who is so concerned about spending "3rd party prices", I would think you would be more inclined to listen to somebody who takes one for the team without whining about the cost.

Bashing others, in this case youtube video reviewers. When you yourself have trust issues on this forum. Is not only wrong it's flat out hypocritical.
Like the rest of us regular TF fans. You don't know why BTS cancelled Nova Overlord. So posting your assumptions as fact is just you trying to start more trouble in threads.

Im gonna let that one slide...
But on topic Im very interested to see how the mass retail version will look considering nobody has seen it's colors in person. I wasn't too impressed with the slag prototype colors. They look ok but not shiny enough. I wouldn't go as far as to buy the exclusive version. Theres no promise all 5 of them will get the shiny treatment. The exclusive versions could very well end up getting the KO treatment once the regular version is released.

What is so hard for you to grasp ?
They get free figures in exchange for promoting them online via reviews. They're not your friends. They are trying to sell you something on behalf of the retailers.
When was the last time you have heard a well known reviewer say "this figure sucks, don't buy it" ??? It wont happen. The most you will hear them say is "I don't plan on keeping this for my personal collection". Go figure, they got it for free and they don't even want to keep it. They must really think it sucks. But will they say it on a review ? Hell no ! That will be the last free figure they ever get.
On BTS Nova Lord, why do you think BBTS and others kept the pre-orders up so long even with no updates ? They were hoping more people would commit with a pre-order. Unfortunately for you, it didn't happen. No potential profit means no production. Mech Ideas seems to be in the business of buying the rights to cancelled figures like Gauntlett/Piston and the TF Animated Mario/Luigi bots. Maybe if you wish upon a star they will buy the Nova Lord mold and release it in small quantities.
