To be fair, Explorer and Munitioner were replacing Hasbro scout figures. I'm sure if they had been releasing a completely original Bruticus set, things would have been upsized.
These appear to be in scale with their Insecticons, the Warbot releases, and MT Giant figures.

I'm new to Fansproject, though they're quickly attacking my bank account.

But that doesn't mean too much. With everything folding up and the fact that Menasor's hunching over, we don't know how well Bruticus will scale with Menasor. But FP's not run by idiots. Chances are they have them scaled well.
Edit:

There's a pic there that shows a probably attachment for the limbs in combined mode. Someone with Photoshop may be able to figure out how well this scales with Bruticus with the right picture.

Arctorro wrote:Just cancelled my pre-orders. It was the car mode comparison combined with a lack of images of Motormaster and Menasor that did it. I can look past car modes that are slightly too small if Menasor is the right size for my collection, but I refuse to lock myself into buying these guys without knowing exactly what we are getting.
Will wait and see what images are released in the next week or so.

Ah, I was under the impression that you had reservations about the final product because of those 2, my bad .Arctorro wrote:I like the look of both Deadend and Dragstrip myself
Agreed, but of course TFC does actually have (slightly ) more experience than FP when it comes to combiners (full combiners, not add-on sets).Arctorro wrote:TFC did it the right way by showing Silverbolt 3rd so we could get a good look at what they had done without revealing everything right away. Really? I hadn't heard anything about them doing the Stunticons (not that it would surprise me, they've done at least some kind of concept art for nearly every other combiner). If TFC does one and it ends up good, I'll just get it as well. I really like what FP has done with these so far and they're worth it for the vehicle modes alone IMO and I'm sure their Menasor will look just fine. FP knows what picky bastards we fans can be (though why people to this day defend that dreadful attempt at Superion of theirs, I will never know . It's not a bad add-on kit, but it sure hell is NOT G1 Superion or anything close).Arctorro wrote:Speaking of TFC, there is a good chance they will be doing their own Stunticons in the near future. As someone who has gone with their previous gestalt offerings I'm wondering if I should wait and see, but don't want to risk missing out on this set if it turns out to be the best one
