I've got all three they've released and so far they are 3/3 that are no fun to transform what so ever. This is typical FansProject, okay, but no where near great. I will never understand how people can consider them the best 3P company around

Unfortunately, now that I've started this set I'll have to complete it so the money spent so far isn't a waste and just leave them combined.

Agreed non of these guys are fun to transform at all! I think I ripped off a side panel on T-Bone's leg while transforming it... luckly i just stuck it back in place and its fine. but I don't think it should have came off. I wasn't using much force....

95% of my online purchases come from BBTS, and while they have a great returns policy, there is no point in shipping it from Australia because of one crack. Once MM is in hand these guys will remain in combined mode due to the complete lack of interest I'll have in transforming them, so the crack wont be that big of an issue then.

Not sure if any modding would be a good idea (at least for someone inexperienced like myself). Their small size, tight transformations, and general flimsiness leave very little room for changes. Any whittling could cause something to break...

As for putting the feet in, I've found they always pop off when doing that. Makes for an irritating time

That happened to me after the cracking canopy! Car Crash and Down Force are in vehicle mode now and I wanted to leave T-Bone there as well, but that panel fell off while I tried transforming the first leg, so I'm leaving him in bot mode for the time being.

Oh no... You followed the instructions, didn't you? >_< They're misprinted. There's a correct way to transform it. A video review that I can't find right now (I can't remember who did it) shows the correct way to transform him without breaking him.

Never touched the instructions, just seems that I didn't notice that one piece must've been about 0.1 of a millimeter out of line. There really seems to be zero room for error with these guys, one of the sacrifices of the small size.

Agreed, these figures have zero tolerances built in. I cleaved into one of Car Crash's panels by the front wheel arch when transforming him. But I have come to expect that with FansProject as they have always had potential issues like that with each figure I produced. I can't think of a single FansProject figure which is any fun to transform.

They're not (quite) that bad Code is the only FP release I personally can't complain about in some small (or big) way.

I understand there is a different designer for the Headmasters, maybe FP should have him overseeing all of their projects from now on so they can improve their products The Stunticons should've been better from a company who is supposed to be very good.

I'd agree with you. I also think that Assaulter (Broadside) is fun to transform and fiddle with. I don't have the Powermaster homage, but I've read good things about him too. Most of the rest sit in displays for me.

Menasor will likely also sit in displays. This racing team reminds me why I don't collect Alternity.

Try contacting BBTS to have them send you just the cracked part. They should have no problem sending you a replacement part without having you ship it back, which would not work for you living in Australia. At the very least see what they say. You should not have to live with that crack! lol

If they hadn't got rid of the iconic carrier mode for that stupid macros thing then I'd agree completely. Just knowing that I can never transform him into a proper aircraft carrier kinda takes some of the fun out of it

When my next pre-order comes in they could also just add it to my PoL so it wouldn't cost them anything in shipping

I transformed him to see what you were talking about. Noticed a small amount of rubbing, but nothing like the legs had a chunk gouged out. Maybe yours is a worsted case (which sucks), but it was so small on mine that I never noticed.

I never had an issue with my first code... everything was great, but I thought i didn't want him and sold him... now that I got my second one.. the windshield is gouging the crap out of the leg... arggggg didn't even know about this issue. (or had no idea what people were talking about when it first came up... =/) I feel like every fansproject offering will break in someway over time. (defender's knees is completely useless!)

Anyway back on topic. Just took out my down force for the first time. andddddddd I love it! It's actually pretty fun to transform. Much more fun then the first two (well I never finish transforming t-bone once his leg panel fell out I stopped). As fun as it is to transform feels like it'll break with the slightest pressure in the wrong place... one must be very careful. Also putting those feet in the canopy is ridiculous!

They're saving the big Motormaster reveal for TFCon in a couple weeks.

I thought I saw a picture comparing Intimidator and Hercules, and they were very, very close. Am I completely off base about that?

indeed they are digibash but judging from the size of the Stunticons cars we already have. I think it is general belief that they are scaled with Giant and FP Bruticus and much smaller then Herc.

Head to toe about as tall as Giant, which means he's taller than Colossus. Want proof? Go to this post from a few months ago:
