OMFG! I am sooooooooooo gonna get one. Wished I'd have gotten the Classics Rodimus though, it was like a shelf former in my country averaging US$10, now I'll be forced to use Hotrodimus henkei........I hope it won't damage the chrome.............

Exactly, also the paint should be a matte-type finish (City Commander and Springer), so it'll probably look better with the Classics version anyway.

That looks really good, Well worth the wait.

I like how the flames on the side of the trailer are sculpted in as a mold detail instead of just being a paint app. And look at the size of the sidepipes!

The battle station looks pretty good also.

I don't know if this matters. I read some replies about how you can't see Hot Rods' yellow spoiler. I think if you fold down the figures original forearms, they won't interfere with the add on armor and you will be able to see the spoiler more. Just an observation and opinion. I dunno.

gah...eBay...ugh...

nah no exclusive for mass release. maybe a shattered glass or other style repaint for conventions be used. its too good to keep for the lucky few going to cons.

It appears that my comment came across differently than expected. I don't think that it will be an exclusive, I'm just saying that no one should want it to be.

Everyone should be happy that it'll be mass released (well, for FansProject's level of mass release...) and shouldn't even entertain the thought of something like this being exclusively.

Exclusives are great when you're desperate (for lack of a better word) for an item no one else would release or carry, but really, they're just a terrible pain in the ass.

It's not a necessity, just a way to make money.

I guess I go into the lonely corner of not satisfied. I don't like the chunky alt-mode. It looks unnecessarily large. If this is the same artist that did Ultramagnus, then he seems to have a fascination with oversized guns. I am sure they could have slimmed down the trailer without affecting the robot mode.

And what's with the head? I give Fansproject credit for all of the things they have turned out so far; however this figure needs to go back to the nostalgic drawing board.

I agree that the size is a bit excessive, the guns are a bit large (except his hand weapon, that seems to be reasonable), and the head isn't quite right. I'm hoping the final product's head has a color scheme that better matches the Rodimus underneath or the G1 original. The photoshopped picture's colors are just a bit too extreme for that head, and most likely what we'll end up with.
