I don't think this is the size of MP sideswipe. If it was I'd think about buying it.
I'm guess by the pics it will be as tall as MP seekers....

Based on their previous (cancelled) product, Acoustic Wave, I'd say they are going for the slightly taller than seeker height. And that's where I need Shockwave to be in my MP collection, not sized w/Sideswipe. Also with a projected $150 price, this sounds appropriate for the larger-sized figure.
Course if he was close to Sideswipe, he'd just go in Classics collection. FOC Shockwave is neat, but simply too anemic for that task. But the price would need to be under $100.

I'm starting to think that the next two or three Tak MP's will include Blaster and Shockwave. While I don't know the circumstances around releasing MP-12 & 13 so close to each other it always seemed like Tak was doing it in response to Acoustic Wave. If that was the main reason behind MP-13 then some better official versions might be around the corner.

hmmm. Just about almost acceptable, given that he's squared off against Scorponok, Megatron/Galvatron and all 5 Dinobots at least a few occasions across continuities. Dammit, I shouldn't even be considering this! But he so nice.

Looks great to me, but it's too big. I don't really collect MPs. I have a few, but I am definately not a dedicated collector.
It'd be nice if they produced a shrunken down version. Voyager size would be nice. Ultra size (the size of Hegemon) would be better.

The blue one is a test shot. Who'd go to all the trouble of making an MP Shockwave and then spoil it all to make it blue and not purple? We were even shown the blue one right when this was announced. Don't you guys recognise it?

I only collect MP or MP scale figures so i like the size. I think Shockwave looks really good. I like, however, not that the hose is on the top of the arm, hope you can change that. Call me crazy but I want it on the underside of the arm.

Hiya 'crazy' (sorry, couldn't help myself
). I agree. I was looking at the pic and hoping that perhaps he has a 360 degree bicep swivel and an elbow joint that goes both ways so that you can rotate the hose connector to the bottom. Sadly I doubt that's the case, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.
