I think I'll have to wait until they're both out. If they're different sizes I might have 1 set as my classics Inescticons and the other for my MPs.

Loving Fanstoys take on the Insecticons better than Badcube. FT's versions look a bit taller, higher sculpted detailed toys. More articulated, Better joint tech and have more normal looking proportions.

Was not expecting this announcement, since we've already been treated to prototypes of Spotter and Tesla recently as well as knowing there are 3 more Dibots to release. I think I'm going to have to deal with the fact that Insecticons were meant to be smaller robots, but FT's Grenadier looks like stubby than BadCube's. Also intrigued by the two versions of Grenadier being released. It's a good way to get more bang out of the mold as well as allow folks to have a choice in their display.

Move over combiner wars (not the IDW/Hasbro version), the MP wars are underway this year.

For me it's FT i like FT more toned slender aesthetic it gives Bombshell a more evil look :evil:

Me too.

It was a done deal as soon as I saw the comparison.

The BC version is really good, the FT version is great.

I waffled a bit on the grey vs purple, but the grey look from the show was one thing that always bugged me as a kid, I preferred the purple look on the insecticons.

I am going with the FansToys, I have some of the BadCube figures which are great. But FT is extremely faithful to the toon look and they use diecast. If BC was the only company doing this I would be getting theirs.

Like the sculpted aesthetics better on the FT Versions compared to the BC versions.

Don't yet own any Bad Cube TF toys. They haven't made anything I like yet.
