I like the original Seed, great character development it..
That put a smile on my face, mainly because of the level of inaccuracy present in the statement. SEED is a disgrace to Gundam. The characters were whiny, annoying, and emo. The show was basically an animated soap opera with giant robots. I was unimpressed by many of the designs. But seriously... Great character development? All the characters did was get more obnoxious over time. And then there's all of the recycled animation. Man, the animators were lazy. You want a true Gundam series? Gundam 00. A new design aesthetic, amazing animation, and deep characters that I actually cared about. 00 is my favorite. SEED is good... to weeaboos.

Did you just call me a wannabe japanese? OKAY THERE BIG GUY.
Can you actually say that 00 is better than Seed? They all had the same generic qualities. Nude pilot on pilot interaction, characters who go through death and survive, and recycled sequences.
To even utter the word 'true' Gundam series is a bloody joke there. And nominating 00? After watching the 00 Movie, I'd still put the original SEED above it. Setsuna's character doesn't evolve, he just gets older from S1 to S2. Plotwise he might have 'changed', but within himself? He's still a war child, and his personality is still the same.
After rewatching Turn A and X, I'd even say that they're a lot better.. more 'realistic'. Same with Unicorn.

SEED = Typical animu bullshit. After watching mind-numbing episodes of Naruto filler (back when I was young and lacking in taste), I would still say those episodes are much, much better than SEED.

"Suck" in this context is a relative term. There's no clear-cut definition. So you didn't answer the question.

Um...no, it isn't. Because if it was, no one would have asked. And we certainly wouldn't be arguing this with you.
And you not only proved you know little about Gundam, you also don't know what the word "lurk" means. For starters, you're using it as an insult for some reason, second, do you think I'd have 25k posts over the course of eight years by lurking?

I'm starting to think you intend to make these posts in another thread, because not one of them seem to fit with the rest of the conversation.

Now you're just getting off topic. So in order to put this conversation back on the right track, I'll start by stating that as much as I love 00, SEED Destiny is my favorite Gundam series. It fixed all of the problems that SEED had (except for animation recycling). Finally we get to see some actual relationships forming between characters. Furthermore, the mech designs were way cooler (Impulse, Strike Freedom, Destiny, Akatsuki). Then there's the fact that the series actually had a story. SEED was just a bunch of people flying around in a ship occasionally getting into fights. It didn't even pick up until the last ten episodes (even those weren't that great). SEED Destiny, on the other hand, had an epic plot twist towards the end. The ending was kind of abrupt, though. I need to watch Final Plus.

I would have rated this a 5/10 due to it being a different genre as the rest of the forum.
However, you changed your story around to try to be more obnoxious...
Overall, I rate this troll an unimpressive 1/10.

Yeah, I've seen better trolls. All this one gets is just a mildly annoyed eye roll. Changing his favorite to SEED Destiny (Which if you pay attention I declared the worst series) as his favorite was too much of a tell. So, a tip for you, Treetop Maximus, next time, try not to be so obvious.
