I love Tankor. He ended up being one of my favorite U 2.0 figures. He's got decent posability, an innovative transformation, cool guns, and heavily reconfigurable shoulders. I don't like the claw gimmick. It would have been cooler as a riot shield. But, they already did that with Onslaught, so, oh well.

I wasn't really excited about him, but I was definitely much more willing to purchase him after I saw the reconfigured shoulders. He stays that way always.

Encore Megatron - Never had the original G1 figure as a kid, none of my friends had him so I felt I was filling a 20 year old void. Utterly woeful in robot mode, has legs like an Ethiopian marathon runner and shoulders like Quasimodo.

ROTF Leader Jetfire - knee joints don't seem to want to hold him up and in alternate mode he's bent like a banana...and that god-awful Scottish accent?!

On the other hand I wasn't expecting much of Encore Trailbreaker, but he is actually one of my favourite figures to display.

Masterpiece Megatron.

Sure he looks nice, but he's finicky as anything to pose and his instructions are longer than some books I've read.

I spent hours working on his knees to improve them. Try as I might, I could not stiffen those knees much.

Universe Sunstreaker. I don't understand why I'm not crazy about him - I love pose-able TFs and he has better articulation than almost any other but I'm just not excited by him.

Wow, and I thought I was the only one who didn't like Classics Jetfire. I actually set him back up the other day but am thinking I'll take him back down again-I just really don't like him.

I also agree with Sunstreaker. He now resides in alt mode in my FP G3 trailer that I display in trailer mode.

And I have to add, I thought I would like the movie line from the first movie but don't display any of them. They all sit in a box waiting for my kids to get old enough to play with them. This time around, I learned my lesson and have resisted buying any movie figures.

actually this is the reason why I pass up most TF that I think are cool.
I only buy the MOST impressive, the top 2%

there are tons that catch my eye and look good and I bet are not bad
like ROTF Ravage, reminds me of ALIEN. I think it's VERY impressive.

but it's not top 2% EVER. so I pass on it. I do like it.
So this is how I avoid/prevent feeling this way.

Scottish accent? Doesn't Jetfire have a northern english accent?

Armada Wheeljack: Everyone was hyping about how Wheeljack was the best figure in the line, blah blah blah. I also liked the minicon, Wind Sheer, that came along with him. Eventually when I got the figure, it wasn't crazy awesome compared to the rest of Armada. It was just average. There is a plentiful amount of figures from Armada that are better. Perhaps I just overhyped it myself.... there's always Takara's version, Rampage... that will be a nice import.

Universe Acid Storm: Never had the Classics Screamer mold in my collection before. Maybe it was just overhyped, because it was average at best.

Cybertron Sideways: I wanted it after the release of the Botcon Sweeps. Perhaps that overhyped it because, the figure just isn't as good as it was made out to be. Maybe it's cause I never watched Cybertron. Maybe because I don't like 'ween colors. Either way, there's alot of Cybertron Deluxes that are better.

RotF Mudflap: I got Skids prior.. I wanted to complete the twins. Skids wasn't the best, but had some pretty nice parts. Got Mudflap... dear god awful.

Other than that, I tend to like every single figure in my collection. Even Armada Sideswipe. Yeah, I'm generous.

Except for the Acid Storm one, I agree with all of these. I don't know, I thnk that Cyb-Sideways was just crap. Total poo. Don't even care about no Botcon Sweeps, I just think that mold bites.

RotF the Fallen. I saw some reviews of him and he looked pretty cool. Lots of little details, like the red panels and various ways to configure the spikey bits. When I got him I was sorely disappointed, half his parts fall off so easily and his alt mode is even lamer than I was expecting.
