I already knew he didn't have his gun, but I still giggled a bit when I saw one prominently displayed in his hand on the box. I wonder if the omission was a last minute decision

Maybe because Hb wanted to keep him in a specific price range else the whiny fandom would never let them hear the end of it if the figure broker beyond US$ 150 up.

Always watch reviews, especially with larger priced figures. It does seem unfair that HB would show him with a weapon he doesn't come with.

The little gunpod on the side of his boot has what looks like two posts on the underside as if something like a flip out handle was supposed to go there. I wonder if that was meant to become a handheld gun too before the idea was dropped

The guns on his legs pop right off and there are handles underneath them for holding. It isn't a perfect solution, but it's better than no hand weapon at all.

Someone should make a 3D printed handle so the G1 gun can be held by him.

Someone on shapeways has already made adaptor pieces so 5mm guns can be held by Fort Max. Might be able to find an adaptor for the g1 gun on there already.

If I'm not mistaken, he also has the same hands as Metroplex, so he can hold Metroplex's guns as well. The big red guns look good with Max.

"artistic presentation" not always translates to the actual product. Didn't they also released the limited ed with the sword and different "titanmaster"?

Must be an incentive to murder the fan's wallets even more plus, they, Hb had to meet a certain SRP for mass release.

Also not a perfect solution, but FM looks so much better with the master sword. I picked one up on ebay during a flash sale since I had other things I needed, so didn't have to pay full price. It came from China and took forever, but IMO it was well worth the wait.

Has anyone else gotten the PC-14 cannon for Fort Max?

The posts on mine aren't thick enough to hold the cannon firm on the side of the tower. I'm gonna try to thicken it with nail polish but I'm curious if anyone else has this problem.

No, but I have an adaptor off Shapeways that lets him hold any 5mm port gun and it's a snug fit. He's currently holding the gun from the Warden add on piece.

Though once I make a small adaptor for the adaptor, My Fortress will be using the big Warden gun.

I was fortunate enough to find the SDCC version of Fort Max from A1 Toys in their Flash January Sale for £100. glad I did. Wish he did come with a gun as well as the master sword though
