The fans couldn't even bring in 2 million dollars for this picture. Could somebody explain exactly why the studio should listen to us? Especially when the vast majority want to jump up and down and act like a bitch?
Oh, and for your information, I'm a fan, and I sure as hell didn't want Welker to be Megatron. What about that?
While what you say is a touch harsh, I have to agree. I love Welkers voice acting and I am a fan of the 80s cartoon Megatron. But Movie Megs and 80s Megs are day and night. G1 Megatrons voice wouldn't be the strong and dark sound that one would associate with something that looks like what we've seen as Megatron from the movie.
Also can't argue that the fans simply wouldn't be enough for this movie to be a sucess. Geekmetal, if you and others don't see it, that won't be what makes it plummet to the ground. If it falls, it will fall under it's own weight. I'm looking forward to what Megatron will end up sounding like come movie time. By that I mean I'm eager to hear what Weaving will end up sounding like come final cut.
Also, good to see you around the boards again Xero! We have to go out for a beer before I move to Mississauga.
OFF-TOPIC IH take a pill. ON-TOPIC even if you dont think Welkers megatron had a dark and ominous tone I don't think Weavings is any better. His voice is more arogant then scary. It convey's a sense of elitism, which is why he was perfect elrond. But there's nothing really scary about voice when he gave his little seliloquey in Reloaded the main thing I was thinking is "Damn I wish someone would punch him in the head."
