I know it's old but fresh prince is on reruns on nick at nite and in this episode Geoffery's long lost son comes to visit or something lame (I suspect the kid is a fake). Anyway to make up for missing his childhood I guess he buys the kid some toys even though he's like 20 years old. He's like I got him a bat and blah blah and I got him Transformers they were on sale. And it's alligator megatron and razorbeast from beast wars! James Avery goes "that's silly Geoffery kids his age don't play with toys" and Will comes running up and he's like Razorbeast, I've been looking for this one since october! He got the name right, though he was looking at alligator megatron. I wonder if Will Smith is a Transformers fan?

There are other episodes where Smith is playing with Spider-man toys and stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if he or someone working on the show was a collector.

Transformers have leaked into pop culture on many accounts over the past years. Another instance of this comes to mind during the movie "The Great Outdoors" with John Candy and Dan Akroid. At one point in the movie, you can see the boy/son/iforgethisname with G1 Sixshot.

There are a number of other appearances throughout history, and they have been documented, but i do not recall what the link was to see them all. Perhaps a fellow seibertronian would remember?

I don't know the site for the list of all the obscure TF appearances, but I remember Flight of the Navigator (I think had some) and obviously, Starscream was in Top Gun.

Vice Versa has a scene where the guy's reading a TF comic inside a newspaper and Scorponok gets a namecheck in the toy development meeting in Big.
