A couple cars behind Sideswipe there apears to be vehicles that "look" like the Twins. Though this is not a clear picture, and even if it is them, there's still no garantee they'll be in the movie.

I wish some of those helicopters were Autobots.

Possibily, but there are other posibilities. Remeber earlier in the year when we saw Autobot symbols crossed out all over buildings across Chicago? This, combined with the humans lieing to the Autobots, its possible they have had enough. Them leaving could be the middle part of the movie simular to the scene in ROTF where Optimus is asking Sam for help. Only this time, its looking like it might be the other way around. The ship in the back ground could also be just that. A back ground. Remeber there obviously at some sort of military base when speaking to the humans. Maybe right after their conversation they step outside for a "chat".

A more likely scenario is that the Twins simply don't have speaking roles in the movie and are therefore not considered to be "In" the movie since there are no VA's associated with them. These vehicles are just that, vehicles. So no, Nelson and Bay did not necessarily lie, the problem may well be in what we understand to be the meaning of "In the Movie" as compared to what they think of it. Personally, I wish the Twins hadn't survived to the end of RotF. I hate 'em with a passion and would have stood up and cheered if they both had been shot in the head and Leo with them. I'll be praying for this kind of a fate (or worse) for them in this movie even if we don't hear them speak or see them transform.

As far as this trailer goes, all I have to say is HOLY @#$% THAT WAS @#$% AMAZING!!!!!
There was absolutely NO downside to the trailer itself. None, Zip, Zero! However...the absolute horrid manner in which practically everyone is over-analyzing the thing is totally killing the buzz. Seriously, WTF is wrong with everyone? Are you all so devoid of imagination and wonder that you have to tear apart a piece of fiction, dissect it like it's a lab rat and place all it's parts under a microscope searching for some sliver of "truth" that doesn't exist in hopes of supporting suppositions you all have made which are firmly rooted in pure fantasy to begin with??? It's a M O V I E...it is supposed to ent-er-tain you. I can type it slower if some of you are having problems keeping up. Do you think you folks can somehow get back around to that concept or is that a little bit much for everyone to swallow?? Seriously, enjoy it for what it is everyone. I don't think the Blue Mercedes is Wheeljack, specifically due to the fact his face is completely different from that in the comics that have been showing him, I happen to believe it's a different character. However, you are missing a vehicle in the convoy: Carly's Mercedes is in between "Q" and the twins. Take an closer look and you'll see the hood of it. I happen to believe Carly's car is actually Wheeljack and "Q" is another bot entirely. Also, I'm not convinced of Sentinel Prime being present.

Honestly, I think Carly's car is just a car. And although I take the events in the comics as canon, I do not take the illustrations as canon. I just think that a bot that resembles Albert Einstein would have to have a role in which he uses his brains. Like Wheeljack, who is traditionally a scientist. It just makes too much sense to me, and maybe that's what Bay wants me to think. I'm still saying the blue car is Wheeljack, and that the silver car is supposedly "just a car" until they get an unpleasant surprise at some point.

True. But i thought (and i could be wrong) that Nelson said in an interview that they weren't going to be in the movie in any shape or form (or something along those lines). I guess that his defintion of being "in the movie" could be different than ours. But either way, if he's going to say anything along those lines and expect not to get flak for it if proven otherwise, or could be questioned (in this case seeing a glimpe of thw twins in the trailer), then he can't be niave and expect not to be called out on it. Personaly, i like the twins. Never had a problem with them. If they did end up being in the movie, i would be fine with that.

Ha ha!! Good'ol T-Macksimus! I had a feeling you were going to have something to say about this. I've come to expect alot of over analising from our beloved fandom when it comes to things like this. Heck, at times i'm guilty of it myself. I guess you have to just take it for what its worth and run with it. I really hope that bay blows everyone away with this.

Where are the wreckers? But this will be the only movie that i am going to see in 3D oh yeah.

i've just looked myself and i think the bot at the bottom of the picture with the guns sticking out of his back seems to be one of the wreckers and the stumpy blue bot could it be 'Q'? the blue merc we've seen?...........or maybee wheelie as been at the steroids again lol.

That tentacle thing worries me, I can't for the life of me figure out how that thing could fit into the movie.. movie. I did see a brief shot of Mirage in all of his Ferrari goodness in the hangar. Other than that I don't see anyone new..

All I want to know is:

Why is there a dragon and why is there a kracken? Is Bay turning to mythology or something? Or is it just because they are awasome? The kracken looked too much like a scene from the Pirates movie to me... hmmm...

I just wanted to know if they are specific named characters or something, I don't mean to come across stupid or anythig, I haven't read any "rumors", or even much of this thread (I stopped after the forth page of people saying how awsome this trailer is)

I like the myth based alt modes(my favorite alt mode has to be tm2 megatron, the red dragon), but they don't make much sense for the movie universe- unless they were something from Cybertron. Like OK Ravage was a cat/panter looking thing, something you would find on earth, however you wouldn't find anything like a dragon on earth. Kinda hard to blend in.- they must have come directly from the moon.

Guess I just answered my own question- Must be there just because they are awasome.

Great preview. I will have to find a theater to go see it in though- mine stinks-- it will probably close.

I don't know you guys, it does look like a space shuttle to me, attached to that booster. Look in the bottom left of it. Shuttle. Definitely not Cybertronian anyhow.

Well, the "dragon" one is Laserbeak, Soundwave's minion, just like Ravage. And that tenticle thing does look a lot like POTC. That scene also looks like a movie I saw a trailer for called Dragon Wars. At least that's what I think that movie was called.

Is it just me, or does Optimus sound pissed off when he's telling Sam that the battle is now their own? Every line in the trailer, it sounds like he's wanting to leave humanity to it's fate. Basically, Optimus is saying: "Screw earth and humanity, you can take care of this crap...yo' damn selves." That's what it sounds like Optimus is trying to say. I sure hope so.

Surely I'm not the only one thinking Omega Supreme, right?

It was Sam and Lennox. And he wasn't trying to catch him; he just got his face blown off and is about to fall off of the building.

I both hate and love the tentacle monster. I hate it because it seems unorignal, like, how many times have we seen killer tentacles, even mechanical? Matrix, doc oc, Kraken, etc. I love it though just because it still looks awesome.

And about that ship...I think it's awesome how we debate if it's Cybertronian or not, since that really tells how good they're getting if it's not real. But about returning to Cybertron in the end...isn't Cybertron gone, since a thousand years before the first movie? Not like it's stil not possible for them to leave though.

My guess is they all leave in the middle, the decepticons come, and the autobots with some new forces come back and kick butt.

This trailer is frickin' awesome. Only seen it 17 times but i can't help but watch it overe and over again. Bring on July 1st.

The crash-transform thing makes me a happy geek.
