Would I be completely offbase in making 2 quick observations?

#1: Exclusives are a cool concept. Unfortunately people's inane jealousy, greed and envy serve to make owners almost feel guilty for managing to get one. Noone owns everything.... Forget houses, cars, jewelry, these are just freaking toys, grow up. I don't know what the hell is wrong with some fans. #-o

#2: Exclusives are a cool concept. Unfortunately people's inane desire to make themselves feel better abvout themselves by buying exclusives just so that they can show them off to non-owners serves to make them uncool. Get a grip, you overpaid for a toy...as did I... Now that someone else gets to have a similar toy you somehow feel jipped? ou still own it don't you? Oh wait, now you don't get to feel better about yourself because you were only one of a couple of thousand to get a TC. What the hell is wrong with some fans? 8-}

So yeah, I like my Botcon TC. I don't mind if others get one, because I will always have an opaque Mirage to prove my superiority to you....... :-P

P.S. Why couldn't they have just made him clear? :sad:

Yes, I think that was the point that the people complaining were trying to make. If something is an exclusive then the whole mold should become exclusive and not be used.

Not my point of view.

There shouldn't be any exclusives in the first place. That serves just to raise problems and anger between everyone. Why not let everyone be able to have something? This is supposed to bring joy. I think all of this is rather ridiculous. I'm sick of hearing/reading the word exclusive. Imagine that MP Optimus Prime was released as an exclusive and only a few people could have it. It would be terrible and unfair to everyone. It wouldn't make sense, then why does it make sense to make other exclusives? But if they're done, at least they should just be f'n repaints, and as far as I've seen Henkei Thundercracker is a different repaint from the Botcon Thndercracker, so they're different figures.

This is probably my last post about this matter, I'm already tired about all of this BS...

In this business, TT or HB dictates the meaning of the word "exclusive". They will use it at their advantage for making as much profit as possible. No one can stop or should stop them from using it.

As someone stated, it's a game where you pay to play. The way I see threads like this is good information for the scalpers. We are actually promoting and inflating the toy values ourselves here. Just my $0.02.
