JazZeke wrote:Here's what I don't get... They're gonna have Sabretooth in it. Okay, that's cool. But in the first movie they established they aren't mortal enemies like in the comics. So how are the gonna explain how they didn't recognize each other in X-1?

Are you for real?????Do you even know how many times Wolverine has had his memories altered or completely removed????They mind wipe him all the time.
The same could be done in the film.

Hmm. I infered that this movie would be set after his mind was wiped, in the three yars he was roaming around before meeting up with the X-men.

And as I said a mind wipe would handle that.Wolverine has had his memories tampered with quite a few times in the comics.
So I can see it being that in the new movie his mind was wiped during the weapon x program and again after that before running into Sabertooth again in X-1.

I never said I inferred it from the posted article. That was the idea I got from reading previous descriptions of the movie's synopsis when it was first announced.

As for the issue with the characters.....like I said Wolverine has undergone quite a few mind wipes before the weapon X program and after it in the comics.
I can very eazly see a mind wipe being used by the writters to explain why Wolverine has no memeroy of meeting Sabertooth durring the 6 or 9 years between his excape from the weapon x program and meeting the X-men.
JazZeke wrote:I inferred, or surmised, or concluded from my previous readings the idea that this movie was going to be set between his mindwipe and X-1. Maybe I was wrong, maybe they changed it since then. No need to get up my craw because I had the wrong idea.
