And I made the same joke to Tweezy. And everyone makes that joke to everyone else. Because nothing's funnier than pointing out Frank Miller's mistakes. Except for pointing out Joe Quesada's mistakes.

Ya got that right! Good ol' Cheesy Joe.

With the Torvus energy restored, used my new dark visor to find my way to the Sanctuary fortress; A place where all the Luminoth tech has gone rogue and decided to kill me. some sanctuary...
Anyway, explored, found missile expansions, got lost, turned off giant machines, fought other giant machines as well as inactive Golems which I'm guaranteed to fight later. Anyway, reached the Spider guardian. Using some comical redirection, kept sending it into charged pylons, zapping it until it died. Regained my Spider ball. Before resuming the sanctuary, plan to go back to Agon and Torvus for some spider-track areas I ran into for some goodies.

I feel bad for the spider-guardian though. It was just chillin', circling the tracks going WHEE!. Then I come around and kill it. Samus is not a good person.

Mass Effect 2:
Did...a lot of stuff. This game is pretty much all I did today, actually.

Recruited Garrus, Mordin, Zaeed, Jack and Grunt. then I went to stop the Collectors from...collecting the citizens of a colony. Managed to save half the colony (New personal best! I'm still 0-3) and met Ashley, who I didn't have killed on Virmire. She is...less than pleased that I'm working with Cerberus.

After that, I recruited Tali, Thane, and Samara, and got my Spectre status back from the Citadel. Turns out they revoke your status when you die, and they don't get it back in the off chance you return from the dead. I also met with Liara, who is now a total bitch obsessed with killing the Shadow Broker in many horrible ways.

Invaded a seemingly dead Collector ship, and learned two things: 1. this was the same ship that attacked that previous colony, and the same one that blew up the original Normandy, so I'm fairly certain there's only one of these things. and 2. The Reapers didn't kill the Protheans, they genetically and cybernetically modified them into the Collectors. Learned I need a Reaper's IFF to get to the Collector homeworld at the Galactic Core. Also, it turns out the Illusive Man was more or less leading me into a trap. I mean, okay, I'm fine with jumping into enemy territory, but a little heads-up would be appreciated.

Now I'm running Loyalty missions, I already did the ones for Jacob, Tali, Miranda, and Jack. now I'm working on the ones for Grunt and Mordin (It helps they both take place on the same planet) which involves a very happy reunion with Wrex.

Groovy.

Star Wars: Dark Forces [PC]:
Not the only chance I have to pretend I'm Kyle Katarn, but definitely the one I've been doing longest.

Finished the seventh mission which was thankfully much easier than the sixth. Plus, the level reminded me of Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II a lot.

Also, I was looking at the sprite of Kyle's Bryar pistol. When it fires, the isn't just muzzle flash - there's a yellow glow coming from within which seeps out through the gaps in the body of the gun, and there's a hammer on the back which moves like a revolver. Before tonight, I wouldn't be able to imagin how the Bryar pistol could be any MORE badass.

Using my new spider ball abilities, left the sanctuary on spider tracks since Dark Samus destroyed the bridge. Found a few missile expansions, but also obtained the DarkBurst weapon. Decided to follow up on a lead and fought the Power Bomb Guardian. Defeating it got me back my power bombs. Whee!

Tron 2.0
Picked up where I left off. The server I was in was about to be reformatted to combat the virus infection. Left me little time to accomplish my goals. Managed to hijack a transport to a processing center where I then fought my way through to Ma3a's processing dock and freed her, then fought may way to an Exit port just as the Reformat reached us. Companion Mercury didn't make it and was erased.

BEATEN! Because I have nothing better to do. Got the best ending, too, where everyone lives. I decided to give the Collector base to the Illusive Man. I figure even though he's a complete asswipe, he's still better than the Reapers. Better he has all that tech than no one.

Still, I'll see if that choice comes back to bite me in the ass in ME3. (Mind you, it's going to use the same save transfer as ME2)

(I'm also fairly certain they let Seth Green write many of his own lines)

Batman: Arkham Asylum:
Fought Bane. Not much more I can say other than the result of the fight is that Bane and the Batmobile are now in Gotham River. Sure hope Batman has auto insurance.

Currently hunting down Dr. Young. Apparently she was behind this craaaaazy new version of Venom Bane was using, and that the Joker really, really wants. So I have to make sure the Joker doesn't get it.

I also learned two things:

1. Many of Batman's attacks specifically target his opponents crotch.

2. Several takedown moves involves some very unpleasant snapping noises.

STARTED! :P
Watched the Old Normandy go down in flames and captain went down with it. 2 years later I'm back and good as new, sans a few scars. Woke up to find the facility that revitalized me under attack. Met Jacob and Miranda and Wilson. Miranda then shot Wilson. Mean Miranda.
Escaped and met the Illusive man and was sent to a vanished colony. Found Tali and some Quarians there. Fought off mechs and let Tali take her wounded friend but kept his data.
From there, was given a brand new Normandy. After exploring, headed off to Omega. Hit a few side missions including obtaining brandy and scavenged parts. Freed a Quarian merchant from a raw deal with an Elcor (when you can threaten an Elcor with brute force, you know you're badass) then paid to get him off the ship. Had a bartender poison me. Incited the crowd and he got what was coming to him.
Met with a local Asari who practically ran the place. From there, joined a merc team to track down a vigilante code-named archangel. Sabotaged a mech on my way but refrained from backstabbing a mechanic on a gunship.
Turns out Archangel is our good buddy Garrus. After reliving old times, helped him fend off the merc attack, including letting our reprogrammed mech do our dirty work and then took down a mob boss. 2 more to go.
At last check, they had broken through the underground. Currently heading to the basement.

BTW, as is befitting the locust, my outfit is blue with red pattern and green highlights. Screenshots forthcoming as soon as I figure out how.

Team Fortress 2:
Ladies and Gentlemen, the Second Annual Halloween Special has begun! A list of a few new things:

1. Two new maps, one of which is a really cool mansion themed map.

2. The mansion has something similar to the ghost from last year's Halloween Special Map: The Horseless Headless Horsemann. He shows up at the active control point, and will run around and attack both sides. He can use the same Freak Out attack as the Ghost, too, but it won't just happen by seeing him. He is also totally freaking epic.

3. Helping kill him earns you achievements and a special hat: The Headless Horsemann's head, a really cool pumpkin head. Killing him via melee earns you haunted metal. There's nine new masks, each one class specific which you find by opening gifts that appear randomly on the map. By crafting the 9 masks together, you can apparently make a Saxton Hale mask.

4. Alternately, using two reclaimed metal, one haunted metal, and the Scotsman's Skullcutter weapon, you can make the same cleaver weapon the Horsemann uses.

I've only got the Medic Mask (Which class you get is random) and the Headless Horseman's Head, as well as one haunted metal. Happy Halloween.

I think it ends on Halloween. Much like the Mildly Disturbing Halloween Mask from last year, the class masks can't be used after the Special.

Also, the Horsemann's weapon requires a Scotsman's Skullcutter, the haunted metal, and two REFINED metal. So that's 36 items all crafted together, plus you need to melee kill the Horsemann, and have a Scotsman's Skullcutter on hand. Or you could just melee kill the Horsemann and trade someone for the rest.

Finished the Archangel mission by protecting the wounded Garrus and destroying a gunship. Took him back to the Normandy and fixed him up with cybernetics. He is CYBER-GARRUS... or would be if I had a renaming capability. Anyway, he's glad to be on board but a little down about his history. CHatted and he filled me in on his activities.
From there, took Garrus and Miranda to the quarantine zone. Aided a sick Batarian, convinced some looters they were doing a bad thing, and fought through Blood Pack and Blue Suns mercs. Reached the clinic of MOrdin Solus ("like a hamster on coffee" as someone described him). To get his help, tracked down and saved his assistant and then took back the environmental controls from the Vorcha so we could distribute the plague cure. Mordin is now a member of my crew.

Picked this up earlier in the week, started the game as Terra on Proud mode, so far every single world I've visited other than Snow White and the Seven Dwarves has led to Terra being tricked and used by the villains. I've just reached Neverland, helped Captain Hook transport a treasure chest and beaten up Peter Pan; Even if Terra is a complete and utter idiot, that actually makes it all worth while.

Batman: Arkham Asylum.
Got over a possibly game-breaking bug. I had to follow Quincy Sharp's DNA trail, only to lead to a dead end that wasn't supposed to be a dead end. The game wouldn't let me use a grapple point I needed to use to continue.

So I started a new game. I wasn't too upset, though, since I missed a lot of Riddler Challenges, and I wasn't that far in anyway. lo and behold, it worked. The game not only ran better than ever for some reason, I also got over that bug...

...That tunnel was a shortcut. I'm like 99% certain I could have taken a different path and gotten to the same place.

Got Sharp's key card, beat up Harley and locked her up, and headed to the Gardens. beat up a couple of Titan-Powered mooks, and got a tip from Poison Ivy (Mostly unbuttoned prison shirt + leaf panties = Win) that there's a plant in Killer Croc's lair that will help me create an antidote to Titan. Tried to leave...except it turns out Joker supplied Ivy with Titan. I'm all for protecting nature, preserving our planet until we can make new ones. But right now, environmentalism is a bitch.

Just completed Star Wars Unleashed 2 on the PS3. Wouldnt mind but I only bought it this morning. Completed it on medium difficulty. Will run through again on its hardest setting to see if it lasts any longer.

Man, thats a short game.

Man, you burned through that game, Shadowdude!

Star Wars: Dark Forces [PC]:
Exploring the ice planet. No sign of any transparent orange chainsaws yet.

Battlefield Heroes [PC]:
Got an email from them that gave me bonus RL$$$ and XP, so I figured I'd play a bit today. Bought some permanent visual gear with the free points I got since I'd never spend real money on this awful game. They really butchered the shop. You can't get any permanent items unless if you buy the Real-Life Money points. And it's still as buggy as ever. Stay classy, EA.
