I killed Shaft. This is the kind of place where I'd like to make a joke about the movie character of the same, hopefully coincidental name. But I don't feel like that.

I also saved Annette. Looks like SOMEONE is getting laid tonight, eh, Richter?

Mega Man ZX (DS)
All right, done with the first four bosses (Hivolt, Fistleo, Lurerre and Purprill, in that order), obtained all models and triggered that mid-game emergency (gotta love those). Brushed right through it, though the boss was hard the first time. Anyway, off to the final four bosses.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

Exteel:
The...the NDA is lifted?! It's...it's beautiful! WE'RE FREE!

So I guess I can do THIS now, huh?

My current setup:
Call Sign: BlueComet
Mekhi Head, legs and chest
Pinkett arms
"Booster" jetpack (The basic one)
Sky-Blue paint job. (To go with the name)
Weapon Set 1: "Crimson Edge-C" Katana in left hand, a shield in the right hand. (Like in Zelda)
Weapon Set 2: "Planet Eagle-C" x2. (Both hands)

Currently at about 75% towards my first Level Up. (I've done one match, so sue me) However, last Stand apparently nets you a good 2000+ credits, possibly to compensate for the much more expensive equipment.

Ohh, but a lot of the new mechs have some sweet stats. Too bad they cost well over 100,000 Credits, it's gonna take forever to earn that!

Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles:
Made it the Final Level, the one so awesome it doesn't even have a number designation. It's apparent to me now, that every time I lose to a boss, I become somewhat better at fighting that boss. Take Dracula. The first few fights, I could whittle down Form 1's health to nothing, but not without taking a bit of damage, before loosing to Form 2. Now, it's surprising if I don't make it to Form 3. I can get Form 3 down to a little less than half his health, but then he pulls a goddamn rabbit out of his hat, by which I mean he makes up a new attack to totally destroy me.

Yowza.

But it shouldn't take too long to wipe the floor with him. I'll have this beaten within the week.

Half-Life 2: Episode 2:
Now, I only revisited the chapters "This Vortal Coil" and "T-Minus One." When I first played (with the very minimum RAM) for some reason, the framrate would drop so low at the ends of both those chapters, that it would be too busy trying to get the primary animations working, and become unable to load the G-Man's dialogue or mouth movements in Vortal Coil, or anyone's speech at the end of T-Minus One.

Frustrating, it was!

So, with my newly acquired Gig of RAM (You wouldn't believe how much grinding I had to do to get the GP for this thing!), I went back, and got to hear the G-Man's wonderfully creepy talking, and Alyx and Eli's dialogue at the end. Although I think I already spoiled it, I'm not going to do it a seEli is killed by a Combine Advisor Pod! Holy ****!cond time.

Half-Life 2: Lost Coast:
Damn, that was short. Yeah, I know, it's only a tech demo, meant to show off and test HDR lighting and Developer Commentary. And it has no plot significance whatsoever. And it's not even canon. And one could easily live their lives knowing about and yet not playing this game. And it plays on my hatred of Toxic Headcrabs (They got demoted from "Absolutely Terrifying" to "Overly annoying") and overly bright lights. (The Flashlight can literally turn a black wall as bright as the sun)

But I played it and beat it immediately. It was FREAKIN' AWESOME.

Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles:
Done. Dracula, dead. Managed to win, despite the fact that one small hit would have killed me. I also unlocked Alt-Level 5 and the original Rondo of Blood.

EDIT:

Exteel: (MAN I love the lack of an NDA!)
Blitz Rocket Launcher-C: Self-Confidence in a high-speed, long-range rocket.

I kid you not. Even if you have to blow off buying new parts at first, (Which is a good idea, because the Pinkett parts suck) I suggest getting this gun. I actually sold any weapons I didn't need. That included my Poseidon-C (Which I never would have used, because the BRL-C is vastly better in all areas except damage), and my Marauder-Cs. (Also which I never would have used, because I don't like they're slow rate of fire, despite the decent damage output) I planned on buying two Echo Blaster-Cs, because they have a higher damage output than my Planet Eagle-Cs, but EB-Cs cost just as much as a BRL-C, neither of which I had the credits for.

So I grudgingly sold off my Planet Eagle-Cs. I figured that when I can get a second Mech, I can set it up with any spare mech pieces (Likely going to be mostly Pinkett, especially if the only new part I get is a new chest) my Tommy Striker-Cs, and probably pick up a pair of Katana's, and make it my high-speed fighter.

And yes, all lower-end weapons end with the "-C" designation.

Up to the Japanese concert. Made it decently through the desert tour but the number of 3-stars is climbing.
The Japanese songs jumped in difficulty to near-expert levels. Make that actual expert levels. I can't even get through 3 of them. Somehow I can survive "Stricken" but that's about it.

The chords are killing me. Especially the split chords followed by the split threes. My fingers just aren't meant to move that way.

I'll ignore that.

Call of Duty 4
Led the SAS troops through Azerbaijan to track down Al-asad, who we then "persuaded" to tell us the name of his supplier. Found who his supplier was, and that apparently it was someone Captain Price had met before.

Flashback mission, 15 years ago in Chernobyl.
Playing as a young Captain Price following the orders of Captain MacMillan. Get to wear a swanky camo outfit covered in leaves in a sepia toned level while trying to find a good sniping position.
Made the assassination, although the wind through my bullet off-center and I blew his arm off instead of his head. Now I'm on the run trying to reach the extraction point. The Captain was injured when we brought down a helicopter and now I have to carry him.
Made it to the extraction point and now It's a waiting game. I have to hold off enemy troops long enough for the helicopter to arrive, at which point I have to carry the captain through heavy fire to the helicopter. Needless to say, this is a total pain.

Rank up to Private! w00tsauce! (Oh my God, spellcheck excepts that)

Current setup:
Mekhi Head, Legs, and Chest
Pinkett Arms

I swtiched from a Sword/Shield combo as my main set to Twin Tommy Striker-Cs. Then I switched to a TS-C in one hand, and my Katana in the other. My Secondary weapon is still my Blitz Rocket Launcher-C. I figure this will give me GREAT versatility; TS and Blitz for crowd control, and Katana for picking off the remainders. I'm not sure how well this will work in Last Stand, especially on higher levels. It might work better in PvP matches, where I can use my rockets for sniping, and switch quickly from mid-range to close quarters when I need to.

EDIT: It works SPECTACULARLY in Last Stand.

I also switched my Mekhi parts for Frontliner Parts. Slightly slower, but it has better health and scan range.

Explored a bit looking for a certain Data Disk I missed, and did some Quests, then went for my next mission, Hurricaune the Wolveroid (why is she called a weasel, the name suggests wolverine!). Level 2 Victory this time and somehow Hivolt regenerated. No matter.
After that I did another Quest which was a tad annoying, involving an oblivious guy writing (badly and clichéd) love letters to an uninterested girl... At least my piggy is stuffed enough to repair both Model H Biometals to Lv. 4. Finally, did some more exploring, netting me my 3rd Live-Up.

Tried a couple of Deathmatch's. Not half bad, it's less frustrating them Team Deathmatch, but unlike the other team-based missions, (Territory Control, Last Stand, Team Deathmatch) payout is exactly relative to how well you fought.

Got a pair of Frontliner Arms, so I've got a completely Frontliner mech now. I'm also Private First Class.

Finally got Macmillan out of the hot zone by taking advantage of the AI's programming. They were expecting me to be by MacMillan near the ferris wheel, so they didn't react to me shooting from behind their spawning point. After that, it was a mad dash to pick up MacMillan and carry him to the chopper. Too bad the chopper left without me because I took too long. YOU BASTARDS!

Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles:
Alt-Level 5, still. By the GODS it's like they took every frustrating part of the other levels, injected that with the DNA of Doomsday, (The guy who killed Superman, and also the Biblical Event) gave it training from Ninja Gaiden Black, with help from Devil May Cry 3, and then gave it just enough whiskey to be angry, but not so much that it was in a stupor. Then they made it love a puppy, only to kill the puppy, and leave a note in my handwriting saying that I killed the puppy.

I just barely passed the Halfway point before getting owned by Axe Lords, Floating Eye Guys, and perhaps a bottomless pit or two.

Back in the present, had to run like hell to reach the landing zone at a farm before all of the locals kill us for killing Al-asad. ON the bright side, there was a Javelin missile launcher handy for taking out the tanks nearby. The bad news is that the chopper couldn't land because of the SAM sites and we had to go back the way we came to the lower areas where they could pick us up safely. Fun...
Things got interesting, though. A glitch in the program made me reload my game, but I reloaded in one of the later checkpoints even though the game thought I was still at the farm LZ, which mean I had extra time and no enemies waiting because they were still up at the farm. RUN LIKE HELL!

Yeah, the Blitz Rocket Launcher looks like a Gatling gun, fires like a six-shooter, and has rockets as ammo. It's not quite as strong as the Siege Cannons, but it's easier to wield (Read as: You can walk, jump, and shoot at the same time) has splash damage, and has awesome range. It's only 16500 credits, so it can be bought right at the start.

we must be nearing the end because now it's joint missions between the SAS and the USMC. Still controlling the british soldier (which makes sense because my US guy got nuked 5 levels ago) in an attempt to track down and capture the son of the nuke supplier. After taking over a checkpoint and ambushing his convoy, we had to chase him through a heavily armed town. Before we could take him in, he capped himself. Whoops.
The nuke supplier (who's name I can't remember for some odd reason) decides to take the offensive by showing he has fully functional ICBM silos in Russia. The dual-team goes hunting to try and reach his base before he launches any. Wait, what's that flash? HE LAUNCHED 2 OF THEM! CRAP!
Okay, now it's a damage control mission. Run'n'gun and stop any more from launching.

Splash Damage? Hell yeah! Damn, I bought a freakin' Iron Curtain at the beginning, so it looks as though I'll be stuck without the Blitz for a while...

How's the Iron Curtain in comparison to the other rifles? I like how it looks EXACTLY like something out of Gundam.

Exteel:
Level 8, and a Corporal!

Current Set up:
Mekhi, with a basic Booster. Using a Katana and a Tommy Striker-C as my Main, and a Blitz Rocket Launcher-C as my Secondary.

Wish I saw this earlier:

Yeah, the Blitz Rocket Launcher looks like a Gatling gun, fires like a six-shooter, and has rockets as ammo. It's not quite as strong as the Siege Cannons, but it's easier to wield (Read as: You can walk, jump, and shoot at the same time) has splash damage, and has awesome range. The curtain looks badass and has a great name. Plus, it's strong, which is the main reason I bought it. I prefer it over the default rifles (Marauder-Cs, I think. You know, the ones you get from Training) and the Zeus Persuaders. It overheats pretty fast, though.

Dude, I sold off all of the weapons you get from Training (except for one Marauder) in order to buy the Blitz. I am NOT regretting it. The Blitz is the stuff (wet) dreams are made of.

I reached the rank of Private (I know, I haven't been playing much), increased my Marksmanship and Movement Speed.

Current setup: All Pinkett parts (I can't afford better); Weapons 1: Iron Curtain, Marauder-C; Weapons 2: Blitz.

When I get my second slot in 2 levels, I'm likely going to give it my Tommy Striker-Cs, and give it my shield and a Iron Curtain. I'd only have to buy one extra weapon, and it's make a pretty good alt-mech.

I'm currently Level 8, still using a Mekhi with a basic Booster. It's hella fast! I switched my Tommy Striker-C with a Planet Eagle-C, which gave me slightly better stats. Other than that, everything is pretty much the same.

Planet Eagle-Cs are stronger than the default SMGs. Better range and damage.

Level 9. One more level, and I get two mechs per battle. SWEET!

I've decided on my secondary mech set-up:

Pinkett
Crimson Edge-C + Planet Eagle-C
And two Tommy Striker-Cs
And, of course, a Sky Blue paintjob

I'll be giving my Mekhi:
Iron Curtain-C + Shield (GUNDAM!)
Blitz Rocket Launcher-C

I guess Pinkett will be my Speed Mech, and Mekhi will be my "Tough guy" mech.
