No accomplishments. Just embarrassed by the fact that after 3 hours and countless continues, still couldn't beat Seth with Chun-li on Easy. :-x

PainKiller
Cleared the train station level. Gameplay time: 23 minutes. Actual time, 2 1/4 hours. Ran into a known issue where savegames could corrupt and cause the game to crash. After fighting with the game, updating it to the most recent patch, and even attempting crash-free cracks, found out that the answer was simply 'reload earlier savegame and continue forward'. yeesh...

Lego Batman
Cleared levels 2 and 3 of the Penguin's caper chapter, taking out his submarine in the batboat and defeating Killer Croc in the sewers.
Next up on Pimp My Jeager.

Metal Gear Solid 2:
Cleared the Tanker with no Alerts or Kills, aside from that one scene where you get an Alert automatically, though I don't think that'll count against me.

Now I'm playing as Raiden, a guy who I've never really had a problem with. Activated the nerd...er...node of Strut A. I also went out of my way to get the level 3 grip gauge.

Do you know how many necks I broke today? Because I don't! I lost count! It was a lot of necks!

Went to a small Panama village where I threw a lot of people down very large drops. I love the smell of ragdoll physics in the mornin'...smells like victory.

From there, a cargo ship where...okay, not nearly as many people were thrown overboard as I would have expected. I did perform an intrusion that I'm quite proud of, involving tossing in a flashbang to disorient the two guys in there, hitting the lights, knifing one guy, then interrogating his partner who, since it's very dark and I'm the only one with night vision, was busy shooting at the doorway I moved out of a while ago.

And now I have to perform a bank heist. I think everyone loves a good heist.

Drift City [PC]:
Well, I FINALLY managed to get the game updated. Played for a good chunk of the day on my alternate character, LordDestro of the -Cobra- Crew. Going to complete the story with him on the rebels' side, as I already cleared it on the government side with my main.

About 80% through Level 40. Since they axed Level requirements for missions, I could theoretically finish the game before I hit Level 41, assuming the Experience gained wouldn't cause me to Level up, and that my Rank 5 car stands a chance at beating Rank 9 Missions.

Lunia [PC]:
Got a great new item for my giggity half-dressed-half-elf-ninja-chick-with-two-swords-and-jiggly-chest character - some new leg armour with crazy stats, and some chest armour that doesn't have stats but whose model displays on top of the one I already have, so I get to keep my current chest armour's stats, but change the appearance. The new armour is a white shirt that doesn't quite reach her waist, with bronze shoulder pads and a low-cut breastplate.

And yes, she IS currently at Level 69. ;;)

Executed the Bank heist. Then a lot of thing happened, including a total blackout of New York City, a crooked PMC company, a North Korean missile blowing up a brand-new US battleship, full-scale war between the North Koreans, the US, and South Korea, the crooked PMC owner getting shot (By me!) and me breaking the necks of a few dozen people. Now part of the Japanese Self-Defense Force may be crooked. And I hope we don't go to war with the Japanese, because if they built a 1:1 scale Gundam (with realistic lights) during peacetime, I'd hate to see what they could do during a war.

Beat, and with 200.6%! Now I might take a shot at playing through as Richter Belmont. The last time I played through this game waaay back in '98, I never acquired the Holy Glasses and I actually thought that Richter was the final boss.

I have to admit that the upside down castle is a little frustrating to play through; both because of the difficulty and the fact that...well, everything is upside down. But the cool bosses make up for it!

Does anyone else remember the days when achieving 100% actually meant you'd achieve 100%? I blame Donkey Kong Country for starting this trend.

Grand Theft Auto IV [PC]:
Got it as a Christmas gift, couldn't play it until now, since I finally managed to get a video card strong enough to run it. Now, it doesn't run perfectly, it's a bit choppy and I had to turn the visuals way down, but I don't care. It runs, I love it, and that's what matters.

But I had other issues. I got an update for the game, and that resulted in an error code that isn't even on the list of known error codes. Google only found 1 other result, and that was some dude who was trying to play with a trainer. I think the problem was the game rejected the trainer, and in my case, the update, and wouldn't load. Reinstalled.

Next, the damn xbox for windows Live crap wouldn't open. I wouldn't even get an error code to look up, just the 'lol, sumbit error 2 windoes' popup. At least that told me the problem was xlive.dll. To update that Games for Windows - LIVE thing, which is required to save your effing progress and track Achievements, I had to update it. But it wouldn't let me.

To let me let it update, I had to "apply a hotfix" for my freaking operating system. But the hotfix wouldn't even install due to some bull about "cryptographic services."

I had to open up the command prompt, manually add some lines to the registry and start up some processes, THEN install the hotfix for the OS, THEN update the LIVE crap so I could launch the game.

So it's been a long wait [not just the 6 months I've had the game but couldn't play it] and a lot of frustration, but it's installed, it runs, and let me tell you - as a hardcore GTA3 fanboy, IV is everything I've wanted and more: physics, story that doesn't suck, characters that you actually care about, abilities like hotwiring and turning off cars, little touches like bloodstains, bullet holes that stay, etc... Sweet baby-selling Raptor Jesus, I must have permanently stained my pants.

Got 5 lolechxbawksgamingpoints for finishing the first mission and the Fresh Off the Boat Achievement. Met up with the Jamaican dude and shot up the guys who wanted to do him harm, getting along famously with Michelle, able to do taxi calls for Roman, and, you guessed it, BOWLING COUSIN. Currently working on the 'chase the laundromat guy' mission. I pulled an old GTA3 tactic of mine: I blocked his van with the Blista Compact and got the Sentinel into position BEFORE triggering the scripted running sequence, so he'd be boxed in and wouldn't be able to move. Only, when I entered the laundromat, it reset the vehicles in the parking area. Clever girl.

Having a blast, can't wait to get home from school tomorrow to play some more. Got some work I need to get done or I'd do another mission or 5.

My only problem with GTAIV was the cellphone. I'd get calls from everyone, all the time. I'd turn them down, because I didn't want to do whatever it was they wanted. Then they'd act passive-aggressive and try to make me feel bad. But then, they're not immortal, and I have cheats to make fancy weapons...

No, I never tried that. I didn't even think of it until just now.

And while I could turn the phone off, that would also turn off story missions.

I know what you mean. I figure I'll just turn it off when I want to just take it easy and dick around, but I think my playing style won't be as laid-back as it was for the Trilogy.

Playing his over again with 0% Corruption. Don't worry, next time, I'll make sure the NPC vocabulary is limited to "Ow." Typically when other games give me the Good/Evil choice, I feel like a jerk for going Evil, but in Overlord that's the whole point, I'm a damned DnD-styled supervillain.

Fought my way through the Dwarven mines, stealing the Arcanium Smelter on the way out. Made myself some nice new weapons and armor. Now the construction site...

Lego Batman
Cleared the Hero levels. managed to get all 15 of the stud requirements, giving me a model of Wayne Manor. Started the villain campaign as the riddler. With Clayface, broke into the bank but couldn't get Clayface away from the gold. With Mr. Freeze, retook his old lair but he couldn't be bothered to leave either.

Saints Row 2
More fun missions. Johnny Gat's girlfriend wouldn't let us use their house as a hideout. Instead, we cleared another gang and some bums out of a collapsed hotel. Cleared the bums out of a secondary stronghold as well. Also recruited some lieutenants for the new gang.

PainKiller
Completed chapter 3 by defeating the guardian with the giant hammer. After that, cleared chapter 4 by defeating a giant demon named Alastor. After the battle, my friend Azomodius showed up, turned out to be Lucifer, kidnapped Eve, and retreated to Hell. An angel showed up telling me I could now go to heaven. I told him to suck because I was going to Hell to save Eve.
Next up on Pimp My Jeager.
