No accomplishments, just kinda deciding my next project. I'm in the mood for floating structures, so wondering how feasible it is to clear out a 64 x 64 x 64 block chunk of land. Basically create a giant crater, then build inside of it.
TNT, good sir. I've levelled entire mountains.

My cousin and I "rented" this game and beat it in just a few hours. Those few hours where hard as ass though.
And when I say "rented" I mean he bought it for the PS3, and since he doesn't have one and I do, he took it back after we beat it.

Customization is great; characters, vehicles, hideouts, gangs, etc can be customized. I made two characters, Duke Nukem and Faith from Mirror's Edge.
Oh yeah, and the game itself is hilarious, without being too silly. It's more San Andreas than San Andreas. The dialogue and situations are real funny, with running gags like one character not getting any love (his elaborate plans get ignored, other characters take credit for his actions, the news describes him as an "unknown accomplice," etc.) and the player character singing along to '80s songs on the radio. Watching a cutscene in which Duke takes out a bunch of samurai and, on his way out of the corpse-littered dojo, eats some of their sushi, cracked me the hell up.
I'm having too much fun with this title and I'm eagerly awaiting Saints Row The Third in November.

PC port had it's problems, but a good enough system can overcome them. I had a blast with that game. My favorite giddy thrill was when i learned that cutscenes use current character model. meaning that if you make your character silly, then replay old scenes, the new look is used. Some of the darkest and most heart-rending moments are easier to watch when you review them as a naked dude or a topless chick.![]()

I don't just mean performance issue, but things like the camera, controls, some missions that are bugged and cannot be passed in co-op, etc. Grab the Gentlemen Of The Row mod and re-explore the game with many fixes, patches, tweaks, and additional content!
And I know what you mean: my co-op character is Australian Duke Nukem.

Holy crap.
Okay, here's the premise: It's 1942, and Hitler has succeeded in resurrecting Dinosaurs. So now there's an army on Dinosaurs on the loose, working for the Nazis.
The problem with this is that's, while there's no indication on the Steam Store page, this is soooooo a Source Mod. Actually Day of Defeat seems to be the base here, there's also some mechanics from Left 4 Dead, and I definitely heard a handful of TF2 sounds. By all accounts this game should be massively unimpressive, and I feel like I need to break someone's jaw for thinking of selling a glorified Source Mod for $10 (Well, $5 until the sale ends 37 hours and 45 minutes from posting this) but it's actually really fun. There's a free weekend going on until tomorrow afternoon, so...you know, hurry it up.

Decided to put a little time exploring. Around midnight, decided 'only 5 minutes left, find a save point'. An hour later, I'd found my save point but only after exploring half the pirate homeworld, finding the xray visor, defeating gandrayda, unlocking the transit system, and getting the grapple voltage attachment. Phew...

If I had a nickel for every time that happened...
