My PE-14EX finally arrived...
Found a small flaw though, in that for base mode, the peg that connects the gun to the tower is a bit loose, but it's more on the hole on Grand Max's tower being slightly larger than 5mm. I dunno if it's the same as with PC-14 and Fort Max(i don't have either of them), or if it's mold degredation on the latter's redeco. (awful quick though redeco of a toy released less than a year prior)

That looks good, and as Abominus is the only POTP Gestalt revealed thus far I have any real interest in, I might pick them up. I just hope they're an improvement on the CW versions.

I really like the set, but I was hoping for something much different. I wanted a straight replacement piece for the small Primal figure. The backpack he creates, and the fact that he throws off the color scheme for the Optimal mode (grey cockpit on the chest) has always bugged me.
Also, who do I have to **** to get a Megatron head to make my BM Optimal Megatron already??!

Yeah, I preordered that Primal upgrade kit. The Predaking one looks neat too, but my preferred Predaking is MMC's Feral Rex. I'll get Hasbro's, but I don't know if I like it enough to upgrade...

Is he alright incidentally? I love how he looks but I hear he's a bit wibbly.
Anyway, the Predaking upgrade is awesome, but nothing can make me want to buy that atrocity of a Predaking. The Primal kit looks good too but I'd only be interested in one for the SDCC set, assuming I can get it!

I like the Predaking upgrades, especially the sword, but I think they missed the boat on the most obvious need that figure has: a thicker waist. I don't think the PotP figure is horrible, but it would be a hell of an improvement if his waist wasn't so damn small. It actually made me look into getting a Feral Rex, but he costs an arm and a leg, so I gotta forget it.
