It's that simple."
I may buy Springer and Blitzwing too eventually, but only on clearance.

After being a bit naughty recently, seeing a 3rd party behind Hasbro/Takaras back, I kissed and made up with Has/Tak!

Thanks to the recent sale at Kapow Toys, I have managed to get my hands on Transformers Generations Voyager Sandstorm which will take pride of place on my Neo-Classics 'The Wreckers' shelf which will replace the TF DotM Human Alliance Sandstorm! Phew!

Dang... you actually made those figures look GOOD. I have Ratchet, hate the damn thing, but it's cool to have a Ratchet on the Classics shelf.
I myself got Mirage, Dirge, and Drag Strip recently, really like bulking up the Decepticons a bit.

But something I wanted to bring up is, at the same wal-mart, they had the first wave of the new generation deluxes, Megatron, Bumblebee and Trailbreaker (no Orion Pax's to be found) and I was going to buy them but they didn't have the comics!
Are the comics an exclusive or limited run sort of deal? All three figures just had a plain board with Orion Pax box art on it.

Only the US versions have the comics included. What you saw were probably Canadian releases, but don't quote me on that. Canada did that once before with the Universe 2008 line: Same box art for all figures in a wave (usually the headliner of that wave, the first has Sunstreaker). The bios were printed on the Instructions.

Finally got henkei hound and classics prowl.
Somewhat-related backstory:
Back in 2008, a store had a pre-release prowl for $15. For some reason I never wanted him, even when I saw them clear it for $8... Back then I thought I'd only get 1 incarnation of any character, and got animated prowl instead. Boy was I wrong.
As for hound, well I never saw it cheap, but the local Japanese departmental store had the whole line of Henkei for $28(23 US) per deluxe, a mere $2 more than hasbro stuff. For some reason I thought that was overpriced. Well I passed, and never saw him again...
Until now, got both for $60 (US $48) from a local seller. Originally I thought I was getting universe hound due to the bad pictures, but turned out to be the henkei one.

Ravage was not included, but that's tiny loss.

...Went to Wal-Mart for curiosity and found Generations Sergeant Kup behind a bunch of FoC figures.
Looks like Wal-Mart derped and put up the wrong toy. Oh well, I missed out on that guy too many times for me to pass him up this time around. Snagged him and came home with two new Autobots.

Senator Ratbat!! I love this figure, sadly spanish customs charged me more than I had paid for the toy itself

Takara Springer with Dr. Wu's Rainstorm gatling gun!

Finally got this a couple days ago. I wasn't interested in Red Alert when it was first released, but I just found it quite cheap with the Beelzeboss upgrade kit and I LOVE that new head sculpt!

Thanks, didn't really do much to them, just a few minor paint apps and some ambulance transfers for Ratchet.

Bought all of these apart from Bumblebee, really disappointed with all of them, so much so I sold them , too small, too hollow, must do better Hasbro!

I they don't feel that hollow but I do own FOC combaticons so that bar has been set very low
I knew they were going to be small before I bought them and I'm okay with this dip in figure sizes, they'll get back to normal soon enough

I hope so! The I could live with a smaller size if they fit in with the rest of my figures, but when Trailbreaker is smaller than Classics Bumblebee in alt mode then something's gotta give.
