Bit of a strange question but is anyone buying the Terminator Salvation toys?

I saw at a local TRU that they have a Warthog vehicle that seems to be in scale to Joe, so I'm wondering if anyone has bought one and tried to fit a Joe into it.

I was going to get one to repaint into a Rattler as it's easier to get than a Rattler, cheaper, and smaller - better for me on all accounts!

While I don't have one personally, I've seen pictures on forums of people trying it out with Joes. I think I saw a Flint inside the cockpit and he fit fine. I'm assuming fixed crotches is a must, though.

Good to know, I'll keep an eye open ifthey go on clear-out.

Also my local Canadian Wal*mart had a special something yesterday, so I now have a Pitt Commando. Only one thou.

Grabbed a para viper. Was going to get PP Baroness but the vipers heli-pack won me over. They also had reactive armor Ripcord and Artic SE. Anyone know which is rarer, gunship Firefly with blue or red helmet? How about Pitt Commando with shield or rifle?

Much like PP SE, I don't think any version is any rarer at this point. I have seen so many of each variant that, well, I have to agree with this.

I have one of each kind just to have them though.

BTW, I like Arctic SE's gear, and promptly created my own sniper using the body and a PITT commando head... I like mixing and matching (the simple kind), it's kind of fun to make some different characters. Not into taking apart chests yet though.

I like the figure but besides the sword and huge backpack what gear does he have. Didn't even come with a gun.

Well today I finally got around to examining the doctor figure and yes that is what it says on his stand, I have to say that hasbro did a good job with this figure the only thing that it is missing is the Monocle. I would give the doctor 9/10 he would get a perfect 10 if he wasn't missing the Monocle which on the figure you can see were it was supposed to be attached to the wig. Snake eyes also comes with a climbing axe of sorts

Wohoo, just checked the mailbox and my Joecon Crimson Viper arrived.

The thing is that I've been looking at some of the stuff from Marauder, and thou I like their stuff I was OK not getting any. The seller of the Viper added a couple extras into the package including 2 of their new stands. Now I have a couple piece and I like them, now I'm screwed as I will need to get more.

Dammit, last week I bought my first GIJoe figure, and now I'm up to four: Snake Eyes Paris version (grey wolf), Zartan, Storm Shadow- ninja merc, and Scarlett- desert ambush; there are 15-20 kind of 3'75 figures available in Hungary plus some smaller vehicles (at last, last time I saw Joe figures in stores were the start of the 90's) price tag for the figures are about 12,5$, I think I'll stick to collecting these until some new transformers will be available other then the movie line.

BTW, the multilanguage cards suck... 12 language with the same line (for example: "Intelligence Specialist, Warrior" on Scarletts card) instead of the filecards.

Wow that is worse than the tripackaging we deal with in Canada.

But I sympathize, I bought 1 about a year ago to bump up the total on a purchase I was making, and now I'm already around 50 pieces with another 20 in preorder, or planned to get once they release.

Good thing I don't do drugs as toys are a big enough drain on my finances. Not that I'm complaining thou.

I wonder what people think of some of the new figures which are coming out as write this like the nano-viper and red fang ninja just to name a few.

From what I know of them, I don't think much of them. Not on my top list of wants. Not much Joe stuff there anymore.

It's been a great summer for Joe, and thankfully, I pretty much have what I want that will be released in the near future. Lots coming down the pipe though!

Nano viper I need to see but the ninja I'll get one. I got the new para viper and really like him although I am disappointed his copter pack doesn't fit on his back. Also one thing I've noticed is that the 25th re-dos have a problem staying on their stands. Here's something, ya know the SW Evolution sets? How about they do something like that with the joes? Eel to Snow Serpent to para viper? Cobra troopers through the years?

I just got my joeclub magazine yesterday, and I am kind of interested in the NIgth Adder dude. His gear is removable and he has tats all over his arm, back and chest and they are significant to old joe stuff. Like theirs a 'Springfield' tat, etc. So I'll probably grab him.

I've heard that there might be a variant of the Night Adder with black tattos instead of blue. I like the figure but not sold on the name since it was once a vehicle name. Is the Night Adder a names trooper or a specific character?

Well I just order the defence of cobra island and attack on cobra island packs through amazon of all things it looks like big bad toy store has account of sorts in the amazon marketplace which is nice if you happen to have an amazon gift certificate lieing around.

Night Adder is a specific character, and by utilizing the unreleased Resolute Roadblock body for him, It make an imposing figure. I plan to grab him if I see him.

There does seem to be variation on the color of his tats. The blue looks good as a contrast to his skin color, but people will be hunting down the black tat one, because it overall looks better.

I know I have been giving nano-viper and red fang ninja figures a hard time. But I just got both of them today and they are really not that bad, I also picked up Kamakura. I got the rest of the assortment snatched out from under me Including the night adder everyone is talking about by the same guy that his managed to get there and find the new figures every time there is a new wave, but this time the manager asked me what was going on I said I think this guy might have someone on stocking staff hiding figures for him and the manager said thought that might be the case because unstead of the new figures being put on the pegs in front of the old figures he noticed that they were always 4 or 5 packages in and placed in such a way that only someone who knew were to look for them could find them.

You know, maybe I would have a different opinion if I had an inside man like that, but this practice really pisses me off. Especially when the bigger chain stores are suppose to have employee practices that forbid actions like this.

When I worked at a comic store, if we scammed the McFarland figures or any limited items like that before customers had a chance at them, we got in trouble.

The thing is this guy doesn't even work at the store he just greece someone palm on the night stalking crew to get figures hidden so he can get the new wave ahead of everyone else since most stores only get one shipment of the new figures per truck. You think that employes would have a little more integrity than that. I have to say I can't wait to get the attack and defence of cobra island 7 packs which have some of my favorite joes and cobras in them.
