I was more into the Night Adder when I thought he was a troop builder and not a named character. I was excited to get the Cobra Para trooper because I really liked that copter pack. Unfortunately it can't peg onto his back or hold it in his hands; plus, and this is a reoccurring problem, the peg holes in his feet are to big for him to stand without his flippers on.

And now, the exciting conclusion to our story.

Just as Duke and Scarlet are about to be killed and their corpses raped, a shotgun blast that sounded suspiciously like a laser blast took out one of the troopers.

Picked up ROC Steel Crusher and Crimson Hydra yesterday.

I dig the aesthetic and the rubber tires of the APV, but what tomscrewery is this?! The back doors don't open?! It only seats two? Boo! I want to put my SS and Baroness in the back seat so's they can get to some serious necking. The spring-up rocket launcher mechanism CAN'T have taken up that much space.

The Crimson Hydra is HUGE. They sure did use up every square inch of the packaging for this thing. I wish the Spy Plane had some sort of weaponry on it, and that the bay doors you open for the missile launchers had a little more detail/features to them, but otherwise fat and satisfying. Kinda like a... nah. too tasteless, even for me.

Actually the ROC version is quite differently painted than the 25th version.

And to my knowledge the only difference besides paint is the missle launcher, and figure stand. This comes from plenty of experience modding, and creating a cadre of 25th versions, and now doing the same with ROC versions. The ROC paint is so much more choice!!!

woo, on lunch found the supermarket was selling late wave Canadian packed 25 figs for $6. off, picked us an extra Cobra flint, pilot Scarlett, and Matt Trakker for parts.

Just waiting on a shipping cost from a couple items from eBay (night adder, loose Python viper) and thinking about ordering from marauder.

Today is a good day. (for my collection of not my bank account)

I've been striking out lately, and am very tired of seeing the same old joe guys, vehicles, etc., in stores.

That is why I started buying some of my figures on line because stores have been getting really bad about getting new stuff. I even had to resort to ordering the tru exclusive insecticons from big bad toy store because I know the toy r us near me will get like two or three in then there won't be anymore ordered.

I look at the same old figures as old friends who like you so much they don't want to leave. In truth if they're isn't space on shelves the stores won't put out new product. I hate to say it but I doubt there will be a lot of demand for the reissues so if a TRU stocks them it will be at their discretion.

Actually it got even better, I hit the local TRU and not only were they having a sale, but all but 1 of the 12 hooks were filled with the same old guys but right on the front of one of the hooks was a Helix. So now I have an extra to repaint for Lady Jaye.

Well this weekend I got the other version of arctic assault storm shadow the version without the mask. The other thing I picked up this weekend was the tomy encore four pack of cassettes that go with my soundwave, still looking for desert viper and the rest of that wave oh well I'm sure I will find them at some point.

Grabbed Bench Press and Snow Serpent exclusives from TRU. Like them both a lot.

Went to my TRU and they had ONE Accelerator Suit Duke and ONE Rex Lewis. No Sky Sweeper, no CS SE, no Night Adder.

I was thinking of nabbing the Attack and Defense of Cobra Island 7packs on eBay. Are they as win as they seem? $70 for both with shipping to boot seems kinda high...

Seeing they have already shown us a good chunk of the Pursuit line, and said that's the focus thru 2010, I doubt it. We should have seen something from Hasbro by now if that was in the cards.

I lucked out and found a City Strike Snake Eyes, Arctic Threat Storm Shadow, and a Desert Viper. All three a definitely worth picking up. I turned the stand for Storm Shadow around and he now leads my Ice Viper squad.

The paddles and mug are plastic FYI, but the table tennis/ping pong table is cardboard.
