We reported here some time ago that Hasbro joined with Glu to produce mobile content based on Transformers. One of the things that Glu would be making is a Transformers game. Now we have some new information about the game. Glu unveiled it at the 3GSM Show in Barcelona. Here is what Glu had to say about the game:

"Transformers:
Gamers must help the Autobots find hidden energy on Earth before the evil Decepticons can get it. The mobile game will launch simultaneously with the console title and the much-anticipated movie release of the live-action Transformers film. Players battle as Optimus Prime across multiple levels and transform from vehicle to robot with special weapons capabilities. Enlist the help of the other Autobots in the race to fine the Allspark – the true source of power for all the Transformers."

Pssh, Energon cubes are too BOXY for Bay's movie.

I thought all this bottomed out awhile ago.

Energon is and always will be the source of energy for transformers, and also a handy form of currency.
Bay can take his allspark and shove it up his ass. No one's buying it.
