The packaging is pretty straight forward. Small cardboard box with the actual pieces enclosed in a resealable plastic clamshell. One page printed instructions.

Here are the parts out of package. Though not in the picture a button style battery is included for the LED eyes.

Attaching the upgrade is a little different than I anticipated. I figured it would slip over the seat like the previous upgrade heads, but actually it attaches to nothing it just sits there.

Folding the arms up is what actually holds the upgrade in place. The tires fit right into back of the new torso. Really it's not that secure of a connection, but it will due for display purposes.

Here's an up close of his face. It looks a little goofy in my opinion, but hey so are a lot of G1 faces.

Height comparison with a couple of other G1's. He's still a little short, but this is the best he's looked to date.
All in all I'm happy with these. I have the Ratchet set as well, but considering they're the same outside the forehead crest I didn't take pics of it. I can if anyone wants to see it. It notes in the instructions not the rotate the head 360 degrees. Doing so would tear the wires loose that go from the battery to the led's in the head. Having his original arms in the new position also makes him pretty back heavy, luckily his metal feet do a decent job of keeping him from falling over.
