Yes that scene in the comics was not 100 percent clear, we already know there was clever lying going on!

Also worth noting is that Shockwave is dead, Cyclonus is no where near the conflict and Galvatron VEHEMENTLY hates the idea of combining. I think we can take some derivations as read.

Plus, if we do that, there's hope for Computron, considering a lot of the Technobots are dead in IDW.

Counterpoint to Cyclonus not being around: during the few-month build up to Victorion, one of the reveals was that Galvatronus was to be her nemesis. Cyclonus is on his way to Cybertron, rest assured!

Blastoff finally returns to his roots. In the original tv series he was reformatted from a plane into a space shuttle, so this makes perfect sense.

I've given it a lot of thought. It really shouldn't be too difficult to take on of the aerial-bots (the gray one) attach pose-able limbs with flip-down paws/hooves, attach condense-able limbs to the leg shells , and put an animal head on a pivot on the same strut the combiner port is on and have the robot head flip out of the animal head. I feel the same way! SO MANY COOL REVEALS! I AM GUSHING SO MUCH!

Sky Lynx looks fun but the whole Combiner thing and constant re-use of molds is really severely hurting a lot of these characters. To be honest I was never a big fan of combiner teams to begin with and now Hasbro/Takara are shoving every character they can think of into this gimmick and it feels cheap and uninspired. Even Bruticus who is meant to be a combiner just looks lazily put together. This line really ran out of steam quickly. What a waste.

Voyager Sky-Lynx looks amazing my wish has bean granted Commander Modesty has an up to date Classics toy and he combines that makes him 10 times better I do wish either Wheeljack or Trailcutter got a new mould but no problem they look stunning

Leader Skywarp looks amazing

Optimus Maximus all of them look amazing I like how well they remoulded Breakdown into Sunstreaker.

Combaticons I like all of them except Blast-off why is he a repaint they haven't done any decent remoulding I would of preferred he be an Alpha Bravo retool like Vortex this Firefly repaint isn't doing it for me Swindle being a retool of Rook works very well I couldn't tell from the front, Brawl looks sweet I wonder who they will repaint him into maybe Guzzle

Legends Shockwave looks cool so does Wreck-Gar

Well as long as we're making wishes,

Demolishor, Sideways, Strika, Thunderblast and a bigass Astrotrain.

With Blastoff, it never ever made sense (both when I was a kid looking at old pics, and as an adult) so being a military vehicle makes SO much more sense. That being said, the name doesn't exactly make sense any longer, and it would've been really nice to have gotten vtol wings with missles (especially since the guy said a vtol jet during the presentation) so between all of that and no new head (especially since blstoffs head is so counter to quickslingers) it is starting to feel a tad lazy.

ok am in nuts or does it look like legends shockwave is meant to be held by bruticus ala a targetmaster gimmick ?

if so thats a damn cool reference to the cartoon.

Fairly certain the Hotshot thing happened, it was a while ago, but it was rather good from what I've seen/ heard. an update wouldn't make as much sense as a re-release, but it basically amounts to the same thing.

Brawl is a great update of the original toy, the only weak spot is the lower forearm.

Sky Lynx - hope i can mod him into two separate bots or at least a triple changer. The combined mode is a joke.

Bruticus - logical choice for Blast-Off ( but why no cammo?), but I'm the Takara version will obviously have the original space shuttle and correct colours for Brawl. Still, I'd buy this set (with a jet fighter) as a "Ruination" repaint.

White Prime - who's he meant to be? Nova?

G1 Autobot CW figs - not sure. Might not get all of them as classics may still be better (except for Ironhide).

Chop shop - might be ok, but I've got the fan project versions.

Shockwave - needs an oversized, knockoff version for me to bother with it.

Most of the others - meh

Chop Shop looks neat, Shockwave and Buzzsaw are a bit too "the heck does it turn into?", and the only Combaticon that catches my eye is Brawl... and I think that is mostly because of the '07 movie getting me into this hobby.

Well technically, he's a Harrier jump-jet, so he IS vtol capable.

Shockwave turns into a blaster to be held by Bruticus. And Buzzsaw....yeah I have no idea but it looks like it has two modes.

If I already didn't have a mint G1 SkyLynx I would be torn... That is very nice looking. I really like that Chop Shop. I hope they keep the ball rolling and make the rest of the deluxe insecticons as well, I'd like to see Venom get some love.
