Ultra Magnus really is turning out to be super fun

Blaster has some pretty nice colors

Is there some reason that I fail to perceive as to why the Heroic Decepticons cannot seem to make a recruiting drive?
Does anyone recall the good ol' days concept of making relatively even numbers of Good Guys & Bad Guys?
Because right now, Megatron & Starscream are more than a little @#$%Ed.

You listed both Bumblebee and Goldbug. You're missing Flamewar and technically that's not Wheeljack it's Slicer, plus you can choose to count his exo suit or not (I'm counting him). Plus if you're counting Rewind you also have to count Fireglide. And then we're expecting Soundwave as the final figure for wave 2 (may or may not come with Ravage and Laserbeak).

That makes things a little more even with:

Spoiler for last months comic: He has defeated Prime and is taking over the Autobots, at least that is the route they are going right now.

The writer said Fight Club was the inspiration for Magnus, so throw that into the mix as well

-He first shows up as a subordinate of Goldbug, so as an Autobot despite the fact that he's using the name Slicer

Soundwave is the Netflix mold, yes!

He has a molded on headband (new head sculpt!) and comes with both Ravage and Laserbeak.

Soundwave looking cool. Not really a shattered glass collector, only other one I own is Magnus but I love Soundwave so I'm thinking this will be a buy

She kinda was, originally. Her original 2005 toy and character were conceptualized by Ben Yee.

Yay Soundwave and his little fellows! I'd prefer the alt mode that could actually move, but since I know that isn't getting made anytime soon I'm still grabbing this.

Yeah, I'm not sure what they're thinking with that price. $35 + 12 = $47, there's no way they can justify the comic being worth $16 this time. Then add on shipping and tax, I'm definitely only buying one.

Bit the bullet and pre-ordered mine, I love my Soundwave. I also have netflix version and the Takara Soundblaster so might as well make it a triple threat

Nice to see that Soundwave is using the Netflix tooling, that means Wal-Mart no longer hold exclusive rights to that version of the mould. I'm hopeful that Netflix Soundwave gets re-issued at some point, maybe with the yellowing plastic issue fixed (I mainly say this because I had a go at painting over my figure's yellowing but didn't do a great job), but I'm not holding my breath for it.

This was an easy pass. Before I'd at least entertain the prospect but their pricing scheme has gotten way skewed out of control.

Not sure what's up with the price, but I never doubted it would be the Earth mode version of Soundwave.

That price is a massive ouch. That package was $40 at walmart 2 years ago, and now should be at most $47. what the heck.

I still preordered it though, I have longed for this figure and it is far better than the other option.

Yeah, that price is WTF. Perhaps several of us should write in asking what gives.
Also tbqh they should have dropped Ravage from the pack and waited for the Core-class do-over of Ravage to make a new SG Ravage. The crappy SIEGE mold reeeeeally doesn't suit him.

I'm inclined to think the latter, that whoever wrote the product copy was thrown by the decision to use "Slicer" so as to package the toy under a more unique name.

If they ever do a transmetal tigatron repaint of Agent Ravage, I suppose that could pass for a shattered glass Beast wars Ravage as well

Though of course I'd prefer a wreckers tigatron to be a remold of tigatron the way Ravage is a remold of cheetor
