I could have sworn that Liokaiser had 34k orders, seen it I thought and others here posted it. Now it only has 23k. Am I missing something?

In that case:
34,329 - 23,553 = 10,776 (International)
Thus, 23,553 - 10,776 = 12,777 (Domestic)

Got charged for the set, and honestly, I felt more annoyed at the cost coming in than excitement that it was happening.

Hope they make some more improvements and the set looks better in hand, I need this set to excite me more.

Also, hoping the recent tariffs in the US do not suddenly cause some issues. already seeing active kickstarters getting cancelled, would hate if they need to do some adjustment to this set for production.

I'm not religious but it was just announced Pope Lio* XIV is the next top dog. I'm taking that as a good omen, free from QC issues that plagued past Haslabs.

I think quoting oneself is bad etiquette or something and if so, sorry. It is relevant though, as now I see the count is at 12k. Below the unlocked tiers even. Did half the orders get cancelled? I would hope, if so, they wouldn't cancel the unlocks, can't imagine they would be that cold.

More importantly thanks for the update. The painted sample looks great, I am super excited for this. I went through a bit of regret for a short period as it's a big chunk out of my nut, but it was long enough ago that the money isn't missed now. Plus the figures are looking awesome. I hope some of the hollowness is filled in though and we get good neck/head articulation( a boy can dream). I don't mind a notch cut out in the back of the head for it. That is very needed for good posing.

Hasbro hasn't been terribly transparent and short on backer updates compared to previous campaigns. So I was surprised to get an email tonight saying to make sure my shipping address is up to date by April 24 because it's coming soon. They originally said it would ship in the fall so maybe things went smoother than anticipated.

I was already collecting the Iron Factory version before this one was announced, so I opted out. I hope The Haslab one is awesome for you guys that invested, but they were asking way too much money for figure that they were still working on, and Raiden was enough of a disappointment to fully kill my interest.

I am looking forward to hearing some of you guy's opinions when it shows up.

Have you gotten anything from Fedex? I still haven't heard anything from Hasbro Pulse directly, my notice came from Fedex. My order on Pulse also still says in progress.

In Canada, they did some surprise shipping, it seems. I got the shipping notification yesterday morning, with expected delivery before 2pm that afternoon. It arrived right on time.

I had backed this so long ago I forgot a lot of the details, like that there would be 7 robots in the box, along with stands, and a ton of parts to make a huge sectional staff weapon.

No QC issues on mine (I'm not sure if any have been reported). Bots are all big and chunky. The LioKaiser combined mode seems to be the design priority, with individual robots second, and vehicle modes being the lowest priority. So LK looks great, individual robot modes mostly good, with a few flaws, and vehicles are passable.

Transformations are pretty simple overall, but there are a few clever bits. The robots for the arms share engineering, and the ones for the legs do as well. The other 3 robots are unique (mostly, Deathcobra also shares some engineering with the arms). Everything tabs in really well, with the LK torso tabbing together in at least 4 different places.

I have no experience with the anime they are from, so I couldn't tell you if they screwed anything up from that perspective, I just like combiners.

Biggest complaints:
- There is nothing to do with the LK hips piece when bots are in individual robot modes
- Deathcobra's 'gun' mode is pretty weak
- 3 of the bots have big gaping chest holes when Beasts are removed.

Everything else is pretty good!
I'm curious to see anyone else's thoughts and questions.

Agreed on the complaints, thought I don't care too much about the hips just existing outside of time and space.

I think it's weird that the combiner arms cannot ratchet to hand directly down. They are always one click out to the sides. I get that it's a more natural pose, but the limitation seems unnecessary.

Overall, this feels like a really good project. Everything is solid and works the way it's intended. The individuals all have character and are surprisingly large (the gaping chest thing is super lame fwiw).

Even the alt modes are pretty good, though the weird blocky jet kibble seems like a relic of the past...

Combining the figure is outstanding. Very stable, very sturdy. Lessons have been learned and the take aways implemented in the desgin. I particularly love how well everything locks together. I had considered removing my TFC team from my shelf (they're in bot mod), but I think I may leave them up and simply display this dude in combined form.

Not that they'll have a shelf for a bit, but if they did, I'd have a hard time deciding how to keep them. I like messing with the individuals more than the combiner, but the combiner looks really really nice. Well, looks nice as long as Deathcobra's left off to the side.
