Scale-wise people routinely drop equivalent amounts of cash on two to three third-party figures like it's "just the cost of being a fan"...but the same people will moan about Leader-class Shockwave at Target being 50 bucks.
Someone else who shares my own controversial beliefs?
But seriously, I mean, every other high end collectible franchise has this, so it's not new. Remember Perfect Grade Gundams? Remember Macross? Hot Toys Hulkbuster? the list goes on and on.
Look, I'm not saying you should pay out of your ass to buy this, but when you think about it, they would only put out an item like this if they knew there's enough people who can afford it. It happens in every fandom, so I would assume there is alot of people who want this. Hell, I want this, even though I can't afford it.
It will definitely be worth it to alot of people, especially those who collect in really expensive lines like Macross or HO scale trains. It just depends on your stand and your opinion alone. I may not be able to get this, but I would never stop anyone who can. On the contrary, go for it
One's red one's blue sometimes I want to ask god why he's played this cruel joke on us
