Don’t count on it.
Keep in mind though, the previously released Seekers would still be better and exclusive. The exclusive part would be that you’d own the rare decent quality ones that don’t completely fall apart in your hands.
Seriously, counting Henkei as a separate release, that’d be the thirteenth and fourteenth use of that mold. The Classics seeker mold may be just about degraded beyond use here soon.
I think that’s the most repaints any single mold has gotten. We’ll be noticing problems when Universe Starscream comes out.
I don't buy that. How many times have the G1 seekers been issued and reissued and issued once again over the years? From the early Japan releases, Diaclone, to G1-wave1, G1-wave2, G2, E-hobby, Convention exclusives, Takara reissues, Hasbro reissues, and now Encore? We're looking at almost 30 years...
Besides, Sunstorm and "ghost/dead" starscream haven't been released yet
The casts will continue to be retooled just as they've always been. No, I think these "classic" molds have a lot of life in them, still.

Hmm, I didn’t think of that, you may be onto something. Although I have heard reports of some having loose fitting cannons, which does sound like a sign mold wear, it is possible they’ve found techniques that help preserve the molds.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

Just got one Skywarp on the way. Thanks F2F!

Tekka wrote:There are loads of Henkei Thundercrackers on Yahoo Japan all going for about 4,000 yen ($40) each, minus shipping of course. I'd say that's as good a price as you're going to find now.
