_Anshin_ wrote:So I have a question. I have been building up my characters again and trying to set up my tactics so that I can have successful builds. However I have noticed that some people that could have leveled a long time ago have not. For example at level 0 I have seen some people with over 300k xp and they are still level 0.
So my questions are as follows:
* Is the experience better at lower levels and there really isn't a point to level up
* Is this the best tactic? I mean to sit on XP so that when you go to the next level you are already maxed out?
I am sorry if this has been covered already, but this tactic has me stumped and I am not sure how to go forward as I really hate to constantly loose and since this is a game I am still trying to learn some of the best tactics.
Thank you for enlightening me.

A question asked politely is never a stupid question.I am sorry if this has been covered already, but this tactic has me stumped and I am not sure how to go forward as I really hate to constantly loose and since this is a game I am still trying to learn some of the best tactics.

The only difference is that the higher the level of your opponent, the more xp you earn.
For example, doing 32% damage on a level 0 will result in 32xp. However doing it on a level 1 will result in 64xp. On a level 5 it will result in 1024xp. Now that's damage on your opponent, it doesn't matter what level you are, you earn xp based on the level of your opponent.* Is this the best tactic? I for one believe it's a good idea to hold some xp in reserve until you have about a point or two extra for the next level.
So instead of entering level 1 with 6 upgrades, you enter with 7 or 8. Gives you that little bit of a boost
Others however will argue that it's best to level up as soon as possible as you'll be facing higher opponents and the chances of earning greater xp is increased.
So it all comes down to personal preference as you still have outside factors, time of day, number of people playing etc.

If you can't afford to rearm with better guns and pay the healing costs, then you might hang low for a while, build the XP up so you may catapult into the midst of the next level, and "stay in the black"
