Not a HW guy. However Bone Shaker looks awesome in alt mode and bot mode got a lot of character thanks to the chest skull design. Will get for the fun of the it depending on the price & availability in Canada.

But Twin Mill is a different story. The car mode is...bad as a car. I'm probably being too analytical, but the dual intakes are obscuring the driver's view so much it's just too ridiculous for me. And the legs in bot mode...yikes. That hollowness is Authentics-level in its badness. The knee joints look weird too. Not interested.

Well with the Breakfast preview pics starting to hit the inter-webs I am happy to see that these two are 5" and not Hotwheel scale like Optimus was---- I am totally in on these two!

People are saying these are Deluxe scaled but priced at Voyager/Leader class. So that's a bit of a deterrence for me on Twin Mill at least.

I wonder if they're using the fact that they're die-cast to justify the price? Still shouldn't be voyager priced. Hopefully that info is incorrect

I nabbed a preorder on these two earlier today. I absolutely LOVE the collab stuff. When they transform anyway.

The Hot Wheels scale Prime was a pass for me - even as I missed the regular price I can't say I was thrilled for a shrunken down G1 prime. But these guys do it for me. Especially Bone Shaker. Wish he was a Decepticon or even a No Faction, but what can you do? It's Autobots all the way down.

Below are the preorder links from Amazon and Pulse for the Hot Wheels Bone Shaker and Twin Mill Transformer Figures. The price is 14% higher in the US than in Canada, where they are sold at the standard deluxe MSRP, and it is unsure if it’s because of tariffs, which have also seen price increases for Lego sets sold to US customers, or if the Amazon.ca price is a fortunate mistake.

I'm surprised these sold out at BBTS already. I thought they'd at least get a few days out of them. I guess that shows how popular these are with collectors, probably the best place to buy online with proper packing.

I'm genuinely pissed. I was out of town this weekend, and by the time I got back, everyone was sold out except Pulse, who only had Bone Shakers left. :BANG_HEAD:

Canada and the USA should follow Australia and Japan in including the sales taxes in the displayed price. But noooooo, it's too hard to do. I blame the fact that most states and provinces have their regional tax on top of the federal one, making things "complicated." #-o

I don't think it's "too hard" at all. I think the deceptive marketing practice is exactly the point. They don't want us to know exactly how much it really costs. It's not that they can't. It benefits them to give us sticker shock.

It's a little easier with the internet, but back when all advertised prices were done in print it would be a logistic nightmare for retailers. Every national catalogue and flyer would have to be printed specifically for each sales tax rate instead of one for the entire country. The US and Canada were just too big with too many tax variations to make that work back in the day and we just got used to it.
