I didn't read the prequel comic, but the prequel novel (which sucks btw, don't waste your time) describes Megatron crushing BB's voicebox to the point where Bee can't talk without pain.

I know this was already mentioned, but I find it interesting that the novel and comic don't match up. Sounds like the comic is a better read....

Not really.

The book and comic barely double up anyway, seeing as the book was set 50 years ago, and the comic thousands of years ago, and then skips to present day.

Since the writers aren't sure about it, I'm just gonna stick with the Allspark doing the healing, like it did for Frenzy.

Just blasting a surgical laser into his throat once, in an alleyway, after all this time just ain't gonna cut it.

Exactly, that was so cheap! I'd go with the Allspark as well, if he hadn't used his radio after his encounter with it....let's just say that he didn't realize it was fixed because it had been a long, long time since he used his voice...or something.

So we now know Megatron's favorite past time. Ripping something off of somebody.

Well when BB was getting asked alot of questions by Sam and Mikaela he transfomred and opend the doors and said "ANY MORE QUESTIONS?"in his own real vioce.

No, that was a radio talk show. BB has a british accent. And it is much deeper.

Well, when you're trying to find the very object that could save or destroy the universe, a voice box you don't need is kinda low in priority.

If you go on what the Movie writers wanted, then it actually only took a few hours, as the laser Ratchet shot in his throat fixed him...

I prefer the allspark route myself, but whatever.

1. Why isn't this in the movie forum
2. Bumblebee got his ass handed to him by megatron
3. You could always go via the trauma route for his willingness to not speak

He could have a squeaky voice, after the damage. That's why he's shy to speak up in front of Mikaela.
