Like buy the score for the game? Most often, no. I enjoy my games, I record some of my MP matches and I create a few video walkthroughs. But beyond that I don't focus on them.

I would go all the way with video games. And then, I'd call video games the next day.

Re: How far will you go with video games?
Well, normally I don't go that far outside of the realm of playing the game(though I have doodled some game fanart), but once I get a game, I usually try to get every last iota of stuff in the game like extra costumes, unlockables, etc. unless it's too time consuming.
Though I did write like a 100 notebook pages(front and back, so technicly close to 200) fanfic based on my fasicnation with the robotic Weapons from FFVII back in High School. It was based in it's own world, the Weapons were mass produced, it mentioned and included nearly ever summon from FF V-IX, had characters based on my friends, and had me as the main character, and the required Cid/Biggs/Wedge characters too.....

Re: How far will you go with video games?
I'm not much of a gamer at all, never was. I'll turn my playststion on maybe 3 times a year, play for a week or so, then turn it back off.
I do have a lot of games though. Some I beat, and like the replay level of certain levels so I don't trade them in. Others I've had for years. I'll get up to a save point, then take it out, then maybe a year or so later get up to the next save point then back on the shelf it goes.
The only games that ever realy roped me in were FF7, I skipped classes and work to play that, and still feel it was worth it. Parasite Eve, after the scene with the mouse... !!! Then Silent Hill 1&2 great games once you get into them.
But realy, I like the fun games better as again, I'm not a serious gamer.

Get the Revoltech Dante from Hobbylink Japan. It's around $20-30 with shipping, and it takes a couple of week to get there (It IS Japan, after all), but Go DAMN the figure is made of awesome.
Come with Ebony&Ivory (Duh) Nevan (The Demon Guitar/Scythe) a sawed-off shotgun, Rebellion, a stand for posing some sweet mid-air moves, and a second head. (The regular one has a smirk, the second one has his mouth open, as if going "YEAH!")
It's very awesome. I hope they make Vergil, because that would be totally kick-ass sweet.

Vergil looks very good.
I might get those figures if i had like millions/thousands/ large amount garanteed and could spent money on none essentials and things i really want.as it is its stuff I really really want i buy, rarely.Because then id have a big house and lots of space.

I looked through the list of Revoltech figures, they didn't make a Vergil figure. I know there are Vergil figures out there, but not in the way I'm talking about.

Diferent company then. Might have been Japanese.I didnt look that close.it looked a bit smaller and maybe a bit diferent stylistically to the Dante i saw.
i came across it by accident when looking for pictures of Vergil for wallpaer and avatars.
Wht dont you just type in Vergil figure into google and you might find it.

When I buy a game, if it's good I will buy at most a poster. If it's bad i trade it in. and I am becoming more and more depressed when I enter the game store.

As for the question, I've purchased art books and PVC figures based off games, but I don't go to overboard. One thing I do is really think about elements of a game's story or theme in what non-gamers might call "disturbing" detail. Ex: BioShock. In the game Andrew Ryan promises to punish, read kill, "parasites" that learned to hack Rapture's vending machines. Yet, at the same time, you can discover a wealth of Gene Tonics that can make you a super hacker. That led me to believe that Ryan was saying one thing to maintain the status quo, yet enabling the opposite to a. make cash from the sale of hacking tonics and b. have more "parasites" to crack down on to feed his dictatorial itch. It's also possible hackers homebrewed the tonics themselves, but it's unlikely Ryan wouldn't know about it. See? Too much thought.

Ryan was kind of a nutjob. he had jack in the palm of his hand, he could have said "Would you kindly use all your ammo on yourself?" But instead he decided to force Jack to kill him. What did he accomplish? Everyone hates him, so he wouldn't have ended up a martyr. The splicer's wouldn't and/or couldn't touch him, either because he supplied their plasmids, or because his security was too tight.
Se, now I'm doing it too.

Welcome to the cult, brother! See the HR dept. for your purple jumpsuit and Nikes.

My feeling was Ryan allowed himself to die because he knew Rapture wasn't going to be saved. While he figured out that Jack was his son, he didn't know that Jack could use Ryan's genetic key to stop the meltdown. In one of Sullivan's audio diaries he talks about the bathyspheres being keyed to Ryan's DNA, but those keys were unreliable and could be used by any close relative not just whomever it was keyed to. That, or Ryan didn't want to be taken alive to be enslaved by a parasite like "Atlas."
