Having checked out many review videos I have decided that the best Evangelion figures out there are without a doubt the Soul of Chogokin SPEC Renewal figures (Well, I know that Unit 01 got a Renewal version, I don't know about 00 or 02). They are big, articulated, stable, good looking, and loaded with accessories. However, they seem to have been long since discontinued, as Hobby Link Japan doesn't seem to have any (not even listed as discontinued).

Can anyone tell me where would be a good place to get the figures from? By the way, I'm looking for the colour versions that are in the colours of the original series, rather than the Rebuild series.

If you find them, please tell me.

I've been searching far and wide for a SPEC XS-01R or a SPEC XS-03 Eva 01.

(The main difference being the MASSIVE gatling gun for XS-03 rather than the two sword-guns.)

Only thing I've found so far is eBay, at too much over the original price for me to actually consider buying any of them.

Still...
