now.. ive been out of the game for a while, so i dont know if this has been discussed to death or not. but ima jump in anyways..

to start, heres comparison shots of both perceptors:

conclusion: united pretty but no chrome, rts chromey but no pretty.

but!

fail + fail = win! right?....

now if youve ever looked at this figure closely youve noticed these chromey bits are attatched to him in no way (i at least) know how to remove. so i removed his arms entirely to switch them out. although not at the shoulder ball joint, but at the slidy peg thing above the elbow. its easy enough.





as for the mircroscope cannon, it pops off just as easy.







"but shajaki", you say. "this is alot of work to go through so you can have a chromey perceptor with a nice alt mode, even though youll never display him in said alt mode and the alt mode kibble is mostly unseeable anyways." which i reply "dont interupt me with run-on sentences."

yes its silly/pricey work. but this is the recipe for the perfect classics/generations perceptor.



(i gave mine the big gun from gen blurr. you guys see him idw's books as a badass sniper? made me a fan.)
