This is like my first post here, so I apologize if this isn't the right place or something, but I did want to share.

I've very recently started building up a G1 collection, and of course that meant getting an original jetfire. Being a macross fan, the old jetfire toy always amused me- it's such a great peice of toy history, even if they completely changed his look for the fiction for obvious reasons. That said, I had looked around at ways people had customized their jetfires to look more like his cartoon/comic self, and of course there's some amazing, amazing mods out there, but there's just something about the inherent 'wrongness' of so many G1 toys. It's almost half their charm, in a way. So, that in mind I set out to think of a way I could bring the toy jetfire just a little bit closer to the cartoon without sacrificing anything about the original toy. Then it hit me- in true G1 fashion, I decided to design some custom stickers and share the results here.

So far, this is what I've got.



Iteration 1 was just a proof of concept, to see if I liked the results at all. After that, I fine tuned the scaling and tried again, and this second version I'm actually quite pleased with-



So far I'm loving this personally. All of the wonky charm of G1, but now with an almost vague passing resemblance to what you see in the show. In other words, everything I love about originals.

If there's any interest in something like this, I might make post the template for this with some instructions or something, IDK.
