Here's a repaint I just started. It's a Transformatrix Prime KO from Dollar Tree. Only $1, of course. I basically have the base coat down for the whole figure. Stickers are from reprolabels. Still a lot of fine detailing to do.

And here's a comparison shot with the original toy.

Hope to get some more work done on this soon. I will be making a few mods to this toy so the head and arms can be attached to the truck mode when transformed. Nothing fancy. Still not sure if I want to paint the windows or leave then as is. There's a silly red light inside the cab. High tech stuff. LOL.

It's actually not a terrible looking toy with some paint slapped on it. It has nice articulation.

And for a buck, how can you go wrong?

I like it. A little on the blocky side as Primes go, but the new paint job's a lot nicer.

How is the quality of it?
Is it brittle like it's made out of saltines, or is it sturdy? :?:

Kinda reminds me of Power Master Prime with the block chest sticking out like that. And he has that Megabloks sense about him in style... not quite lego, but enough to kill an afternoon playing with.

For a $1 toy, it's not bad. Pretty articulated. Head, shoulders, elbows, waist, hips, knees and feet are all jointed.

Make no mistake, it's a cheap-o toy.

It appears to have Robot Master Prime's head and legs, G1 Inferno's arms and a totally new body. Does it transform?

mind taking a picture of its alt? just curious how it looks, my mom said shes going to send it to me from florida.. along with some other things.. but not for awhile, i could buy my own, but my dad doesnt like to drive :lol:

I dunno about the arm connectors, but the chest section is actually Motormaster's cab. I too would love to see the vehicle mode and whatever else has been done to this custom. I know it's a WIP but it looks finished as is, and it looks pretty good.

Shut up dude, I was gonna do this! lol but yeah, i saw this in my dollar tree. I only had two bucks on me though (it was a sad day :-(

) and ended up getting the light grey one with the gold chest and the non-cab-over one with the red chest, so no Optimus yet... But as far as yours goes, probably better than I could have done, nice work :grin:
