Cool. So that looks like a Skyblast head, and the helmet looks almost like it came from Jetfire.
I'm intrigued. Any hint on what you're actually heading for?

Classics Sky/Jetfire?

Looking good so far, that's a pretty tight fit.

(ramrider) you are correct on both counts. I poped off a Titanium jetfire head (much more difficult than it sounds), cut the neck post off, hollowed it out until it FINALLY fit around the skyblast head, and next I will attach the bar that already comes inside skyblast's head to the new face shield.

In case you didn't know...
If you look at the Don cover where War Within jetfire first appears, he has a flip down head like this. When the first pics of Titanium Jetfire surfaced, everyone was speculating on weather or not he'd have a more standard Skyfire looking face hiding in there. Unfortunately they didn't do it. Fortunately they gave me the perfect part to do it myself. Would have done it sooner, but I never owned skyblast, and just recently got his head in a trade.

Oh, it's Titanium Jetfire. I thought it was a hollowed out and modded Classics Jetfire.

yea, skyblast is a basic... it would look like a pee inside a classics jetfire head. :lol:

I don't think anyone thought you were crazy, lad. I've seen the flip-down face shield several times. Pity they didn't do the movable plate don designed for Bumblebee, too...

And actually, Classics JF's head is pretty piddling. The Skyblast head would certainly rattle around in his helmet, but the head itself is quite small.

Yea, I have a plan in the works to make Classics BB have a removable face shield (to look like his G1 self, ala Don), but it won't flip up or anything.
