Bah. Pretty much decided we're not going.

We have another vacation planned and it's only a month away from Botcon, so that's an epic amount of money to spend all at once. Too bad.

Makes a sweet backup plan if that trip doesn't happen though.

I just reserved our room at the Dolphin! This is going to be our first Botcon and my girlfriend and I are really looking forward to it.

It is a good thing that I have a vehicle because all the bars in the hotel close at 11:00pm except for the Japanese restaurant which closes at 12 and the dress is business casual. There is no place to walk to, food or otherwise. I am definately bringing my own food and drink - read that as water. I am not a drinker as such but that is where my friends hang out. I am up for taking a crew to the beach or something a few days before the con or going to a dinner theater, pm me if you want to be a part of that.

you what have a chance to be or at least visit BotCon are happiest people among Transfans for me, I have a pity coz I'm from middle Europe and travelling to the America is more than impossible for me... perhaps next year when I will work here... waaw I'm really jealous on these happy people... :sad:
