I just saw that you sent me a PM, but trying to access it from either the email notification or the site itself just takes me to a blank white page with the following error message:

EDIT: The same error message also pops up when clicking on the User Control Panel, or when clicking on any user's profile.

Haven't been able to get on here in a while, I only get a few seconds and the site completely crashes on me and I can't get in on Chrome or Edge on PC or mobile, I get a time out error. This is the closest I've gotten to being able to post in a week. Not even sure this post is going to work.

(Edit) OH! I was actually able to post! Let's see if I get more than a minute before I start getting time out errors.

Thanks for the heads-up, Emerje. We recently discovered that some users were being incorrectly blocked by one of the site’s security tools due to a technical issue. One of our staff members ran into the same thing, which helped us trace and resolve the problem.

Your access should be working normally now, but if you — or anyone else — experience any kind of issue accessing the site (not just timeouts, but errors, pages not loading, or anything unusual), please let me know as soon as possible. Most likely, if one person is affected, others are too.

The more info you can provide, the better — screenshots, exact error messages, your IP address (if possible), or anything else you notice. If you can, shoot me an email with something like “URGENT – Seibertron site issue” in the subject line so I can look into it right away.

I would have emailed but my staff email hasn't worked for years (despite several requests to have it fixed) and I couldn't access the front page when this was happening so I couldn't use the contact form. I actually had two news posts I wanted to make this past week, but...

Well, I almost got 4 hours reading and replying to posts before the error came back. More often than not, as was the case this time, it seems to happen when I'm deleting bot posts. Had to turn on my VPN to get back again. It's like it gets confused and thinks it's blocking the bot but blocks me instead. Also found two bot posts that actually got through to the site that I know I disapproved. I manually deleted the post for one from tonight, but I also found this one that might have been the last post I thought I disapproved before I started having issues (if it was me that did it in the first place).

Hm, the 'Mark forums read' link seems to have stopped working sometime overnight. It doesn't go to the confirmation page but links straight back to the main page of the forums, and doesn't clear the unread marks. 'Mark topics read' within an individual forum still seems to work OK.

We had some major catastrophic situations happen as I was trying to resolve a bug with private messages. I spent 5 hours working on it earlier today and didn't resolve the issue and ended up having to roll back much of it. I'll have to think about the problem some more and take another shot at the issue later.

I posted one in this topic right here I left it so it could be seen by you. If I did approve that one then I must have been half awake because I usually don't approve one word posts and usually look into the account of first posts since a lot of them put a bunch of links in their profiles like this one did. The other one that Sabr reported I zapped yesterday and I know I didn't approve it because I was sleeping at the time.

Well, that is admittedly odd. It's possible le that maybe I accidentally approved one via a different post that guy made or something. I'm on my mobile device at the moment so I'm limited with how to look at it (and at a graduation party so I should probably ly get off my phone).

When i start tackling restructuring the forums once the new header and footer are launched, redoing the registration and login process is top of mind. I will probably implement an "I'm not a robot" check or Facebook or Google login or something or all 3. I haven't focused on resol ingredients that problem because I need the site to be a modern bootstrap structure first before I start gutting legacy code like the forums or the toy galleries or the news and so on.
