I think he was still thinking in G1 terms, and hadn't made the Armada connection.

Motormaster - both have master

(If I say G1 Inferno I mean the one in G1 and no other; G1 Inferno is not the same TF as Armada Inferno, so saying Thrust as you did Bumbled is skipping the needed connection from G1 Inferno to Armada Inferno)
